1968 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:

1968 Camaro, 396/375 horse, M22 4 speed, special order factory paint and documented by Jim Mattison of GM. The color is Pontiac Verdoro Green Poly. I have seen only very few other original camaros this color in 68, Jim estimates approximately only 20. This car was California owned until purchased by the previous owner who owned Kens Klassics in Muscoda Wisconsin. Ken's shop performed a total frame off restoration on this solid California car while documenting every step of the way with photos and receipts in a 3 inch thick folder that will go with the car to the new owner. The restoration and purchase exceeded 140K. The car is still powered by its original numbers matching MQ code engine with matching VIN as is also true for the original M22 and 12 bolt rear. The front seat is a very rare bench seat that I have seen only a few times in my life also radio delete. The Camaro was awarded Concourse Gold honors and Jim Mattison Pick at the 2015 Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals receiving 966 points out of 1000. The car also received first place in the gold class at Super Chevy Memphis 2017. The small items that was noted at that time of showing have since been corrected. Gardner exhaust system. Correct XF wheels. All components are correct casting and date correct, carb, dist, smog, etc. If you are looking for a turn key rare muscle Camaro look no further with no long restoration by shops that never seem to hit the budgeted dollars or time schedules and buy it for roughly half the investment.
