1969 Super Sport Chevelle 396/4spd

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Additional Info:

I have decided to part with my chevelle !it's a true ss 396 4 speed car .It has ss identification by cowl Tag paint code 72 . This is one of only two paint codes gm used for a factory ss 396 chevelle in 69 Monaco orange in color . With out either paint code SS was a add on option to standard chevelle which you would need documentation to prove it's authenticity . This is a great piece of history and nothing better than knowing this ss 396 4 speed car was made directly from gm and not a ss add on to any two door Malibu .
It has number matching 396 with vin # on block by oil filter to this car.
The Muncie 4 speed is a m20 and it is not number matching to car.
It has correct 12 bolt posi traction

Body is rust free and as far as I can tell it's original paint with exception of one are, the body is solid but does have several dings and scrstches , top is original and not ripped . All original panels on body
Interior is original and needs attentio, that's why I have all the new pieces for it .back seat looks great but front will need upholstered dash is very nice . I removed old carpet to view floors and replace carpet. Floors are nice no rust !!
Under carriage is clean as well as engine bay !
The motor and trans are out of car to freshen up and rebuild . I have not rebuilt motor but I did have machine work done on block and is ready to rebuil, it has been boredAnd has new cam bearings . Transmission has nice gears and I was not going to rebuild just put new seals .
Buyer is buying this car as is and to carry on my projec, it won't take much to put this on the road again!
Car has been stored and not driven for almost 40 year, I have given the best discription I can if I think of anything else I will update as well as add photos when I can .
