1967 Camaro SS/RS Convertible

3202 Miles since Build

Real matching number SBC 350 7N131308

This lightly Resto-Mod’ed Camaro is fully show quality inside and out. It was taken down to bare metal and meticulously worked to perfection in the body and paint. Every part of the car has been gone over to be the highest quality. The chassis was powder coated to highlight the extent of work spent on this build. Even the underside of this Camaro is show quality. Most of the time when you find a car like this, it was built out of a lesser model or not a true SS. This car came from the factory as a SS/RS spec convertible. The power top works perfectly, and looks proper with the upgraded Stay fast cloth material.. Really the only thing that is not original is the Tremec 5 speed modern manual transmission and Hurst shifter. But it sure does shift better than the old Muncie unit.

The car was built at the Norwood plant in the second week of November 1967. It came from the factory with the following codes: E tinted glass, D power top, 2L Floor shift 4 speed, 2R Rear speaker, 3S Interior Décor group, 3L Rally Sport Group, 4F Remote Mirror, 4P SS350 Engine group, 5B rear bumper guards.

The engine is the original block with the correct numbers stamped on it (7N131308, V0810MS). When I got the car it was running a little rough. I checked the valve rocker adjustment and found that the two lobes on the camshaft were not to spec. So we pulled the engine and completely went through it. While we had it apart it was fully blueprinted and upgraded. It got a Comp Cam CSXR270HR, Hypertech Pistons, and Roller lifters. It was properly broken in and runs very strong. Receipt for rebuild will be included with car. The engine has Aluminum Heads and intake manifold, Holley 650 Carburetor, and headers. The engine compartment has been really cleaned up and finished to show car quality. Lots of billet, stainless hoses, and expensive trim pieces. It is cooled by an oversized aluminum radiator, and a electric cooling fan.

This Camaro is built for modern driving with a Custom Vintage AC system, with modern R134a refrigerant. Also the gauges have been upgraded for a better performance look and reliability. It also has 4 wheel power disc brakes. This car is set up to drive fast and reliable. It has the original 12 bolt SS rear end. It does not have any evidence of crash or rust damage in the car. The interior is all-fresh and looks stock to how it would have been optioned with a Red exterior. I really like the hounds tooth seat covers, very classic look. Really, a perfect match of 60’s classic and modern touches to make an amazing Camaro.

I am happy to assist with world-wide shipping or inspections prior to the end of the auction.
