1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS (Clone) Additional Info:

Please read entire description before calling with questions.I purchased this car in 2015 mid way through the process of restoration. The paint had been completed, the engine had been rebuilt, but the interior and exterior trim were incomplete. All exterior trim except for side louvers are attached with trim tape-(no holes in body panels) making it easy to de-badge the car and clone another style.I have put approx. 2000 miles on the car since completed (odometer indicates 21000+ miles- actual mileage not known). The car shows and drives great with a few minor paint scratches(paint is a 9+/10). The only issue that remains to make the car function as new is to figure out why medium speed on blower fan does not function. I suspect it has to do with wiring for retro fitting the 80's era fixed orifice A/C system (heater blower resistor ??).
Trim tag shows no X code (No LOS cars do) and indicates the car was an early first week of Sept. Los Angelesbuilt car.
The car is equipped with deluxe interior (rose wood dash), console gauges, and tach. Aftermarket AM/FM radio w/ CD player, factory A/C (converted to R134a fixed orifice system), PS, PDB, fold-down rear seat, and tilt wheel. The engine is a non-original 350 bored 5 over with pink rods, Harland Sharp aluminum1.5-1roller rockers, forged flat top pistons, Crane hyd. flat tappet (mild) cam, GM Fast Burn Aluminum Heads, Edelbrock RPM Air Gap Intake, Hedman full-length headers, 2.5" Flowmaster exhaust, TH350, with 2500 TCI converter. The car has a 12 bolt 3.55 posirear (coded originally as a 3:07 open diff) that along with other physical evidence indicates to me the car was probably an original an LM1/M38 car. See - camaros.orgOther evidence is remnants of fuel return line, rear brake line proportioning block under drivers side door, speedo cable exits left of steering column, and multi-leaf rear springs. In addition, the car DOES NOT have the added reinforcement plate on drivers side frame rail.In the interest of full disclosure- I was told the car has had rear quarters replaced and the driver's side door glass shows some deep scratches. All other sheet metal is solid and clean and underside shows minor surface rust if any.
New parts installed since purchase:Morris 3pt. front seat belts,Emergency brake cable,Edelbrock carb, gas tank, rear wheel brake cylinders and shoes, most exterior trim, tilt wheel, dash pad, trunk liner, A/C compressor, new 15" tires on new Torque Thrust wheels, rebuilt steering box, grille, 4 shocks, new front and rear seat covers and foams, front speaker, and rear speakers. TH350 rebuilt 2000 miles ago. Also included will be a set of 14" Rallyewheels with older tires.
I have many receipts from two previous owners for some of the work done prior to my ownership. feel free to call/text me (Phil) with questions at 585-729-1095. I reserve the right to end listing at anytime as the car is for sale locally.
