1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS B4C 1LE Additional Info:

1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS with B4C and 1LE options - former New York State Police vehicle

This has been my baby for the past 12 years. I purchased this car in October 2005 on eBay from a seller in Boston. Since then, I have gone through nearly every inch of it. I wanted to maintain the clean stock appearance, both on the exterior and the interior, while having greatly improved power and handling. Over the 12 years, I've only added 22,000 miles to the odometer so many additions have seen few miles. This has the factory medium quasar blue metallic paint - original to NYSP. Some of the panels have been repainted (hood, nose, and front spoiler). There is still evidence of it being a police car - the holes for the light bar, antennas and A-pillar spot lights have been welded but are still barely visible. This car is 1 of 589 B4C special service package cars made in 1992 and VERY few are this nice. This car turns heads!

ENGINE: Factory 350 TPI small block remains, but has been bored and stroked to 383ci. Plenum has been modified for the AS&M large intake runners; TPiS Big Mouth intake manifold; BBK 52mmthrottle body; Hooker headers; Eagle internal rotating assembly; AFR heads; LT4 Hot Cam; MSD ignition; aluminum radiator; dual cat converters and Magnaflow exhaust; factory A/C connected but not working; dyno results 267 rwhp and 354 rwtq.

DRIVETRAIN:Modified original 700R4 to handlethe increased horsepower; TCI torque converter; certified flexplate; 3.5 inch aluminum driveshaft; Richmond 3.73 gears; Yukon axles.

SUSPENSION:Welded subframe connectors; tubular rear control arms, reartrack bar, track bar relocation bar, torque arm andfront 'Wonder' bar; newer Cooper tires.

INERIOR: Newer carpet; velour seats; many plastic panels;instruments have been corrected; Pioneer stereo with amplifier and subwoofer. Thereis slight wear on the dash fromwhere the RADAR unit was mounted

This car is 25 yearsold. It's not perfect but does look and run good. There are some smaller scratches and nicks in the paint and the engine needs to be driven. These cars are becoming increasingly harder to find, especially in this condition. With the 1LE packages in the Gen 5 and now Gen 6 Camaros, they have become sought after collector items.
