1969 Chevrolet Nova Additional Info:

1969 Nova SS. I bought this car not long ago and after starting to collect parts, came to the reality that it will be years before I can get started on the restoration. I have 2 other cars that need finished at this time so I'm putting this Nova on the market. It is a Rallye Green car with 731 standard Black bench interior. I bit of a hodge-podge of parts but here's a run down of what's there and what is not.
Big block heater core that looks original but I never pulled it apart to check the date code on the core itself. Power disc brakes. Original booster, prop valve, hold off valve (both valves in the glove box) 12 bolt rear axle with multi-leaf springs. 1970 code 3.07 posi. not original to car obviously. Floor shift steering column. Std shift brake pedal in place and I have purchased a clutch pedal to make it complete. Small block frame mounts and radiator support. NCRS report showing original selling dealer "Bill Jacobs Chevrolet" Joliet, Illinois. No seats or interior panels. The headliner bows are inside the car. Nice hood (not SS), decklid, cowl panel. Fenders are 70-72 and are rough as are the doors. Hole in roof near Left Front, half quarters installed years ago. Left rear rail is shot and the Right not far behind. Floors and trunk floor look decent at first glance but too much to patch in my opinion. No engine or transmission but did come with an original big block turbo 400 cross member. Rust on dash near windshield. Poorly repaired in the past. I have front and rear bumper brackets but I do NOT have the bumpers. I have a good grille and front filler panel but they are not currently installed.
That's what I know at this point. I have a clear Illinois title dated 1992. I have some info on the person who's name is in the title. I will pass along what I know if someone buys the car. Please call or email me with any questions if you are genuinely interested and I'll tell it like it is. I hope the car finds someone who has the time to make it live again.
A $250.00 NON refundable deposit is required if the "buy it now" option is used. I can be reached at 260-623-3345 in the evenings and weekends. Please no calls after 9:30 PM Est.time. Of course the car is available for inspection. Thanks you, Troy

Rocker panels and lower cowl sections are very nice, no holes or soft spots. I have pictures of the lower cowl with the fenders off if any one would like additional pictures. I can also take more detailed photos of the rockers if need be.
