You are viewing a very nice and solid completely restored SS. Body off restoration finished 7 years ago with 5K miles driven since completed. The cars original mileage is 124K. Multiple show winner and it shows. Fine finished detail and shows excellent. True SS 396 car with AC owned for 10 years. Always garaged.

Body/Paint:
The body is very solid and came from Texas. No rust and never used as a work truck. The bed is in show condition with no dents. Blasted with multiple coats of primer providing a very flat finish. Painted original color of Phantom Blue base/clear. Wet sanded and buffed and show excellent. Strips are under clear. Vinyl top as original in like new condition. Super nice. Bed paint looks as good as the outside of the car. T3 headlights.

Bed: In excellent condition and shows well with Tonneau cover.

Interior: Restored and very presentable with new dash, carpet, seat covers, etx. Original steering wheel in very good condition with a small crack. CD player with two 6x9 speakers behind the seat. All gauges work with temp and oil pressure gauges under dash. Clock does not work. The interior shows very well. Column shift with power brakes and power steering. Factory AC.

Running Gear: Engine is a rebuilt 70 396 with cast iron heads bored 30 over with a 454 crank. Balanced and blue printed with roller rockers. Nice lumpy street cam with stock distributor with electronic ignition. Lots of horse power. Runs excellent and powerful. Aluminum intake manifold with Holley 750 duel feed Street Avenger. Hooker ceramic coated large tube headers. Always runs cool. The original TH 400 transmission was replaced with a rebuilt 700 R4 with a shift kit, which is a much better transmission. Over drive provides much better gas mileage. The 12 bolt rear end was rebuilt with 373 gearing/posi.

Suspension: Restored and rebuilt front and back. Frame was blasted and painted. Under side is as nice as the top with original floor and bed pans. Really nice condition. All new shocks.

Bright work: All chrome and bright work is in excellent condition and shows well.

Glass: All in very nice condition. Tinted.

Exhaust: 3 inch exhaust pipes with magna flow type mufflers and cross pipe. Sounds awesome with the lumpy cam.

Brakes: Restored stock disc and drum brakes in good working order.

Wheels/Tires: Very nice American five spoke 15 inch with BGFs 225/70-15 all the way around with lots of rubber in very good condition. Full spare behind the seat with carpet cover.

Summary: If you are seeking a restored El Camino done right and ready to drive and enjoy this car is worthy of your consideration. Built professionally and needs nothing.
