Very nice and original 1966 Chevelle Malibu 4 door hardtop (Sports Coupe). Great daily driver as-is or restore/ restomod to your specifications. This car gets thumbs -up everywhere I go. I purchased this car from the original owners family about a year and a half ago and have driven it on a regular basis. I really like this car and am only selling because I have too many projects.Key features:*60,000 original miles (as stated by original owners family and supported by receipts and paperwork).
*All stock 283 with 2 speed powerglide automatic transmission.*Drive train has not been modified. Manual drum brakes and steering.*Original wheels and hubcaps*Original paint with exception of touch up/small repair.*Original interior with exception of front seat cover and front door panels (I have original door panels and seat cover if desired). Interior is in excellent condition. Headliner looks amazing. Near perfect original date stamped seat belts. Steering wheel, dash, etc. are all very nice.*All glass is in great condition and all windows roll up and down smoothly.*Bumpers, grill, and trim are all in very good condition.*I have much of the original documents all in excellent condition. Purchase contract, owners guide, accessory booklet, envelopes, Protect-O- Plate, etc.*Frame and under body has had corrosion protection since new (as stated in purchase contract). It is flaking off and ugly now but appears to have done its job. There is surface rust but frame and body appear solid. I noticed a few pin holes in the trunk.*There are a couple of small oil leaks
Overall a very fun car in great condition. Car is over 50 years old and very original so not perfect, buyer is responsible to inspect to his/her satisfaction.
