I could go on and on about what's been done to this beauty, but those are the basics. I don't want to bore you to death with a novel for a description, so I ask that you please pay very close attention to the photos.
Over $10,000 in this car and I am in NO hurry to sell it. So please, PLEASE do not waste my time or yours.
The car has been garage kept, covered & started regularly. Motivated seller looking for motivated buyer. No street driving. Shown by appointment only, to any serious buyer with CASH IN HAND!
**** PRICE IS FIRM!! NO TRADES! NO PAYMENTS ****
THE [not so] BAD: Here is a list of some very minor and inexpensive repairs. I have accounted for these items in the asking price. The price reflects the current condition of the car. So please don't show up (as some have) trying to nitpick and low-ball because you will be going back home empty handed and probably with your feelings hurt. . .
1. I recently replaced some A/C components. A/C will need to be recharged.
2. Paint shop lost some trip pieces and weather stripping (i.e. driver side mirror, door weather stripping, passenger side spoiler, hood louvers, etc. see pics)
3. Cooling fan motor just went out on me (not sure if it's a fuse or the motor itself, but either way it's less than a $50 fix). During our last test drive the car did not overheat, but I strongly recommend spending the extra $ to rent a trailer and haul it home. But that is your choice.
4. Driver side lock actuator is inoperable
5. Alternator is going out and drains the battery if it sits for over a week or so. (I have purchased a brand new AC Delco Professional alternator and will give it to the buyer) On the bright side, the car has a brand new battery since I originally thought that was the problem.
6. Radio works when it wants to (it could use an upgrade anyway, the radio is over 10 years old)
7. Rims rub here and there especially on dips and tight turns (again, easy fix)
8. Paint job is going on 4 years old. The car hasn't seen a drop of rain or any hot summers outside. It is 99% garage kept. Paint has some normal wear (i.e. minor nicks and scratches).
9.The instrument cluster that is currently on the car is not original. I had to buy one last year from a junk yard to pass inspection as the old one was inoperable and all the warning lights were on. They only gave me 72 hours to return to complete the inspection, so I bought the first one I could. NOTE: I don't know why you would make the mileage on the cluster a deciding factor for your purchase (due to all the restoration that the car has), but it currently reads 212k. The original read 109k when I took it off last May. I have only driven it approximately <500 miles since.
10. I do not have documentation for all the upgrades and repairs as most of them were cash deals made with friends. I never go through shops. . . I have a thing about getting robbed for my money, so all upgrades and purchases were made CASH through friends and acquaintances. But it doesn't take a car guru to know this car is 90% restored!
