1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Super Sport (SS) Additional Info:

I want to be perfectly clear here, this is not a fire sale. I do not have to sell this car. We have this beauty listed at a fair price. No one is going to get gouged here! I urge that only serious bidders and lookers plan to come to see the car. These photos don't do the car justice.....IT MUST BE SEEN TO BE FULLY APPRECIATED!! If you want a fantastic collector quality classic, this is your opportunity. This car is STOCK and has not been 'monkeyed' with in any way except for the following: the ignition key unlocks the doors instead of the trunk key and there is a very inconspicuous jack under the dash for Smartphone access to the AM radio. There is a small 1/2" long paint flaw under the clear coat near the junction of the trunk lid and the right rear fender (see close-up in photo gallery). There are some minor scratches in the stainless molding above the windshield on the driver's side. All the glass is clear with very few and very minor scratches. The paint is like looking into a mirror. At the 2014 Frankenmuth Michigan Auto Fest, the car was 'marked down' because the finish was much smoother and 'glass-like' than was the original factory paint job. The undercarriage and engine bay has been painstakingly detailed and is as clean as the top side. THIS IS NOT A DAILY DRIVER FOLKS, THIS IS COLLECTOR GRADE MATERIAL.

When viewing the pictures of the undercarriage, you will not see a muffler. This car has a 'chambered exhaust system with resonators just in front of the exhaust tips behind the axle. From my research, I find that there was no code in the GM list of options, so it is likely that these were installed by the dealer as a GM aftermarket option. It gives the car a deep throaty sound with a little bit of cackle when in second gear and decelerating. There is no undesirable drone at any speed. Notice also the cleanliness of the undercarriage components. It has been recently detailed and is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN.

Everything works like NEW on this car; engine bay and trunk lights, gauges, signals, tail, turn and headlights, cigarette lighter, radio, wipers, EVERYTHING!! Notice that the battery, spark plug wires, hose clamps, hoses and any other detail is EXACTLY as it was when it rolled off the line. ALL STOCK! The tires are even Bias stock tire and rides like a dream. I would never think of putting radial tires on the car with this good of a ride.
