1962 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

1962 Biscayne real 409/409, 4 speed, 4:56 posi with P case, west coast car that was totally rust free before the restoration. One piece bumpers, correct 068 casting block used in 1962 only, but not the original motor it was blown years ago, 553 bell housing, fresh rebuilt on the borg warner 4 speed, original 409 radiator not a reproduction. You can look around and I will be very surprised if you can find a better 62 Biscayne anywhere. It has phosphate plating where there should be phosphate. Radio, heater and cigarette lighter deletes. Spiral shocks all around, correct resinators and the exhaust joints are welded as per the factory did, with the only clamp joint being behind the main muffer. Correct 8:00x14 Silvertown tires with correct 14x6 wheels. All interior is Biscayne correct except it should have rubber floor mat but they just aren't out there to be found so it has carpet. The motor is built to factory specs with solid lifters and 11;1 pistons, correct 881 intake and carbs, 919 dual point distributor, rare correct elephant ear generator, correct 2.5" exhaust manifolds etc. As you can see we didn't cut any corners in restoring this rare muscle car and you can see the investment made. The only reason for selling is I don't need two 62 409s. You can email or call 217-620-3405 with questions
