1965 Chevrolet Malibu LS3 with 6 Speed Auto - No Reserve Additional Info:

I've owned this car since 1996. It was stored for 17 years in someone’s collection before I bought it. So since it was such a rare color combination, for the first ten years I kept it as a rolling museum to how it was stock. Problem was even though the stock paint and interior were fine to drive around. The four wheel manual drum brakes, manual steering and 2 barrel carbed 283 meant I was constantly getting eaten up by minivans. So over the next ten years I have transformed this car into a corner carving, stop on a dime, street cruiser restomod. Although this is the original paint colors, the roof has been repainted now. But the base is still original in all it’s dinged up glory. I believe they call it patina now a days on a survivor like this, I just prefer to say this car looks amazing from 20 feet. It's a driver but would make for a really nice show car with paint. The bad part is I haven't had time to work on this car in a couple years. So in the interior, the console still needs to get completed to cover the coil packs that I mounted inside for a cleaner engine bay. The LS3 has about 7400 miles on it now and the oil pan has started to leak. Google LS3 oil pan leak, it’s a thing. Stuff like that drives me crazy when the rest of the motor is so clean you can eat off from it. But I just haven't had time to deal with it. I've owned this car for over 20 years and have loved it every minute of that.

Time for this to go to a new home, just sold mine and there’s no room at the condo I’m downsizing to. There is a trunk full of parts that will go with it. I have a ton of dough and time in this resto mod. It’s priced low enough to move, this is a no reserve auction. It will sell and make someone an easy project to finish.
