Here is your chance to own that perfect combination of original, resto, rat, hippy travel wagon piece of American history. Not a trailer queen full custom street rod and not a "wont make it out of town" junky rat rod.

We hate to see this one go but my dad has decided to sell his 1937 chevy panel truck. A purpose built ride, the purpose to travel..to drive..to have a place to haul 2 dogs, an ice chest, a suit case and a full size bed in the back! This panel has been all around the great ole USA, from deserts to mountains and back again. Only selling to finish a few other projects like all hot rodders do.

Here is a list of what your getting:

Original 1937 allAmerican steel body, running boards and front clip. No repops on this ride.

Body has been on the road as a service vehicle for many years, has a slight bit of rust in passengers side quarter panel, was "patched" Harry home owner style many years ago, the patch is shown in the pictures. We have a complete quarter panel included in the auction to replace the patch if you desire, personally the patch adds character and we decided to leave it. A baseball size rust spot under rear of front fenders on cowl section dr and pass side as well. Other than that this panel truck is a very solid ole ride, rockers and door bottoms are solid. Dents and dings all over as an 80 year old truck should. If you are looking for a perfect "street rod" this is not it, this is a daily driver not afraid of parking lot dings and dirt road rock chips. Original frame rails from cowl back.

70s Camaro subframe up front.. with matching Camaro suspension and steering so on..

Ford 9 inch rear end with 2.50 gears.

Gm 454 big block chevy engine, runs strong, no smoke or knocks, road ready and reliable.

Aluminum radiator, electric fanalways runs cool.

NV4500 5 speed manual transmission, new clutch, throwout bearing, fork and linkage.

With the 5 speed and 2.50 gear ratio this heavy built ride still gets 21 mpg down the highway!

Original wood and strips in the rear-very cool

Original glass, has kick out windshield, pass side broke but there, drivers side has been replaced with lexan, Window regulators, original dash-no originalgauges but has newer tach, oil and water. Tilt GM steering column.
