Hi, up for auction is our beloved 1946 Chevy Shop truck, daily driver, turn key, numbers matching, original 216 Stove Bolt motor, never hit and never in an accident. Tuned up, oil changed, brand new Nostalgia Sid's dropped front axle and all new steering and suspension components (I still have the original front axle that will go with the sale of the truck) rear end has been blocked. Clean rust free truck. One repaint back in the 1950's. This is a survivor! and yes that is the original bed wood. I found this truck 10 years ago in a barn in North Dakota, she had been in there since the 1960's. I brought her home, changed fluids, fresh carb rebuild, new battery, cleaned fuel tank...etc...she fired right up and became my daily driver, and I enjoyed every minute of it! From the barn to my garage, the Chevy has never slept outside.The time has come to pass this gem along, this is ALL original, the motor purrs and I just used it a few weeks ago to bring home firewood. This 'ol Chev has brought home Chrismas Trees, compost, and firewood. The 'ol Chevy still loves to work.I have hundreds of pictures of this '46 from car shows to cruising to a documentry video, all that can be forwarded to all that are interested in this 'ol '46 survivor.Please ask any and all questions you may have and I will be happy to answer them.
