1987 Chevrolet Corvette Base Hatchback 2-Door Additional Info:

If you are shy, STOP reading this right now since this car draws attention wherever it goes. It has a clean CARFAX that confirms the 39000 miles. At some time in its life, a ACI Wide Body Kit was added plus a few other pieces. Everything is painted the body color. The hood scoop and wing have a removable spray on flat black coating. The cars drives beautifully with the 4+3 (4 Speed Doug Nash Original transmission with overdrive in 2-3-4) I average 23+ MPG!
The tinted top is removable by one person and stores neatly in the trunk. The back window pops out at the bottom for extra circulation. This is one of only 4000 Corvettes manual transmission Corvettes produced in 1987 out of a 30,000 unit production.
It comes with original warrantybook, owners manual and receipts from 2011 to present. The engine appears to only have a larger throttle body but no other modifications. Exhaust is stock. Wheels are circa 2002 Chrome Corvettes and all of the tires have lot of wear left. Everything works except the AC. It needs to be recharged. Paint is very good but not competitive show level.
I invite you to have this car inspected before you buy it. It is sold "as-Is" with a clean title. Car is being offered locally and I reserve the right to close the auction at any time. Additional pictures on request.
Feel free to ask questions (other than what is the reserve).

On Apr-27-17 at 15:24:54 PDT, seller added the following information:

A question was asked about the Electronic display. The display works fine with only the MPG readout missing a couple of segments. I can still figure out my MPG. Everything else is 100%.
Update: I had the starter replaced because it felt sluggish. The battery was fine so I sent the car to a auto electric shop I have used for years and they replaced the starter. Spins over and starts easily now.
Transmission: the 4+3 transmission is a manual 4 speed with electric overdrive in 2,3 and 4. Works fine. I use 2 and 3 overdrive in town.
