1967 Chevrolet El Camino Additional Info:

We have owned this great old truck a number of times over the last 15 or so years, having passed it back and forth between ourselves and various friends on aright of first refusal if you ever sellagreement. Having recently bought it back for a third time, it is now time for it to go to a more permanent new home. We obviously spent a lot of money over the years making this a superb driving El Camino, and the only reason we are selling now is because we almost never get a chance to drive it, and storage is becoming a major issue for us.

This El Camino runs and drives beautifully and gets more 'thumbs ups' from other motorists than just about any other car we have ever owned. The engine note is fantastic, largely thanks to the free flowing big bore custom exhaust. The 300HP crate motor has less than 1,000 miles on it and runs cool with excellent oil pressure. When we installed the Vintage Air AC, which blows ice cold, we upgraded the radiator to a Ron Davis racing twin fan with built in shroud.

In the last thousand or so miles we have installed the 300 HP crate motor, Vintage Air AC, Ron Davis Racing twin fan alloy radiator, Wilwood brake calipers, a Wilwood master and booster set-up, 17 inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with new 225 Bridgestone tires, a custom fabricated big bore exhaust, a new front grill and headlamp surround panels, a custom leather headliner, re-trimmed the seats in top quality, red hide, fabricated and installed some custom Wilton wool carpeting, re-plated the front bumper and installed a rather exotic Rosewood steering wheel. I'm sure there are other things we have done, but you get the general idea!

This is a top quality driver that will also attract a great deal of interest at any car show. The only evidence of any rust on the car is some barely noticeable bubbling in the lower quarter panel behind the left rear wheel. I have included a close up photo of the affected area, although it really is difficult to see.

This car was painted approximately 20 years ago, prior to us buying it for the first time, and the paint still has a deep gloss and looks extremely presentable. This is a beautiful 67 El Camino that anyone would be proud to own.

I have not to put a Buy it Now price on this auction because I really don't know what the car is worth and have decided to let interested bidders decide the selling price, assuming my very reasonable reserve is met.

Inspections and test drives are welcome and actively encouraged. Call (512) 288 8800 oremail me through the eBay system with any questions or to make an appointment to view. There are more photographs on the Classic Jaguar website in the cars for sale section.

This vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty of any kind being offered. Clear, unencumbered Texas title conveys to the new owner.
