1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Additional Info:
I have had many Chevelles Over the years and this one runs and drives is nice is any I've ever had. The paint is new and looks very nice. You may see some small flaws here and there as you would with most any car if you look close enough. The chrome bumpers are older but still shine very nicely and were good enough to leave on the car. The tires are good, headliner looks nice, The car steers nicely, has good brakes with factory disc brakes upfront, the trunk floor is excellent. I will be adding more pictures this week and I'm willing to take a video of it running and driving whatever makes you comfortable.Call or text Dave 651-431-0107On Apr-24-17 at 15:05:14 PDT, seller added the following information:The under side of the cab area floor has not been undercoated to hide any issues. It is solid but shows some surface rust. The heads, engine block, and distributor are 1970 396 Chevelle. The intake is a 1969 396 factory high rise. The carb is a holley 4bbl. The engine runs smooth with good oil pressure.
On Apr-28-17 at 05:30:14 PDT, seller added the following information:This is the day it was pulled from the shed with the owner of 20 years. He wanted a pic of him standing by his car. Had a small rust bubble above the rear wheel well that most flipper guys would have packed with filler. The repair was done to last for decades. The bumper pad had loosened and was in the trunk.
On Apr-28-17 at 05:47:17 PDT, seller added the following information:I wanted to show that the car was painted and the reason was that over the 20 years it had chips and small dings etc. but still looked very nice. Remember that the best bang for the buck is to buy a car in this condition ready to drive. Most of us know buyinga lower priced car needing restoration can be a nightmare. Dealing with body shops and rounding up parts can be nothing but trouble.
I did get a call from someone claiming to have been the second owner in 1972. Not sure if it was legitimate but he did claim to know a lot about the car.
