I am proud to represent this beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Corvette. This was a good solid Texas car that underwent an extensive body-off restoration. The restoration took place over the course of approximately 10 years & a verified cost of over $105,000. The owner is a friend of mine. He works in the aircraft industry and is a very thorough & talented gentleman with excellent taste in automobiles & motorcycles. This Corvette is the culmination of his efforts along with a few other very talented individuals. It is his absolute dream car as it is mine, and likely yours too if you're reading this. In all seriousness, this is an extremely well-built '57 Corvette, the best I have ever seen, it is incredible. I hope you enjoy the photographs, details, and video presentation of this '57 Corvette as much as I enjoyed working with it. I did the best job I could to relay to you the extreme quality of this car in video & photos. If you have any specific requests, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you - Sam Mallow "Samspace81" 972-748-6389 tele or email me through EBAY.
There were 6,339 Corvettes produced in 1957. This example was built in early December, 1956.
In short, the body was meticulously brought down to gelcoat, refinished, blocked, and prepared to receive this show quality Venetian Red paint job with Polo White Coves, the correct color combination for this car. The paint and body on this car is incredible. Also, all of the chromework is triple-plated & of show quality. The wheels of choice are originals, restored & color-keyed with quality correct beautiful '57 Corvette wheel covers & Firestone Deluxe Champion wide whites all around.
The interior is just beautiful, detailed and correct throughout. Again, the car was completely disassembled and restored both in cosmetics & mechanicals. All gauges are functional. The speedometer was NOT reset on completion of the restoration. This car has less than 500 carefully driven road miles. All gauges are functional.
The upholstery is perfect and correct in this car. The carpeting, door panels, and dash detail is 1st class. Everything on this car "fits". The shifter goes through the gears correctly and the stout 283/270hp engine is well tuned by another talented individual I know. This Corvette truly drives and looks as if its brand new, actually better.
The shifter, carpeting, sill plates, etc were all carefully attended to during the restoration.
The engine compartment is beautifully detailed.Under the hood is the professionally rebuilt, balanced & blueprinted 283/270HP V8. The Front Engine Pad stamping reads - T109EG - prefix T (Towanda plant) should be an F (Flint engine plant) from my research - 109 is Jan 9 - EG is 270HP 2 4bbl carbs. There is not a pipe plug between motor mount and intake manifold, which means this is a Towanda non-Corvette block. The right rear date casting is A757 - Jan 7, 1957 & engine block casting # is 3731548. I am following with a list of casting numbers and date codes for the driveline & more. The engine components are correct throughout, again the numbers are detailed below. If you have any questions, let me know.

This car was originally built in early December, 1956. Again, the VIN plate matches the frame to this car. We know the car had a Texas owner for several decades, it was stored for many years before my acquired the car, seen in the above photo prior to the restoration. We have full photo documentation of the restoration efforts along with receipts. Well over $105,000 verified dollars has been invested into this car's build.

The beige soft top is new and excellent, properly fitted. This car does have a hardtop, however it was not restored with the car. It is available and stored, it will need restoration. Inquire if you are interested in the hardtop as well.

Timeless Beauty

Here is my friend / owner, Ty, with the 57 Corvette loading up, getting ready for its makeover.

The frame was brought down to bare metal, the chassis carefully prepared & restored front to back.
The exhaust system is correctly routed and sounds heavenly. Be sure to play the video road test & tour, play it 2 or 3 times. It never gets old with this beautiful '57 Corvette.
