1954 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 150 Sedan Additional Info:

1954 Chevy 150 2-door sedan. Chopped 4" and b-pillars slanted forward. Chop top done by Kenny Baker of Chop Rods in Elmer, MO. Kenny has been in the hot rodding community since the '60's, some of his work has been featured in magazines and he has won awards for his work. He did a very nice job on this chop, the chop was done right, it looks correct, smooth, clean and layed back. This car is very clean and has a solid body, the floors are original and they are still perfect with no rust. All the bumpers and chrome has been stripped, straightened and re-chromed, I didn't snap any photos of the chrome because it is still wrapped up from the chrome shop. I can assure you that all the chrome is perfect. The engine is a straight 6 - 235cid with a three-on-the-tree manual. It does run and drive, however it hasn't been started in over a year. With a charged battery and fresh gas I'm sure this ol Chevy will start. I believe this to be the original drivetrain, it needs a little TLC, the engine leaks a little oil and smokes until it warms up good. The charging system has been converted to 12 volt. The front and rear seats are original bench seats that have been recovered in black fabric and they look decent. Needs headliner (original headliner bows included), needs door panels and carpet. Have all the original glass but still needs cut to fit the chop. I really hate to part with this car but unfortunately family comes first and we're building a new home this summer so some extra cash would help. This is a killer start to a bad ass sled or hot rod, in all my years I have yet to come across a car this old that was this solid. Finish it your way!
