1950 Chevy 4100 pickup truck. With 10' hydraulic flat bed dump
6cyl enginemanual transmission
This truck was last licensed in 2003 and I was told that it was driven into the barn and parked till I rescued it. Engine oil is clean. Oil in the oil bath breather looks clean as new, Engine does turn over but doesn't fire....... haven't messed with the points, coil, plugs etc...... but the engine does turn over when hooked to a 6volt charger, the turn signals did turn on, as did the lights......... so clean the points, change the plugs and wires and this thing should run, but that is not a guarantee just an educatedguess.
All the tires were holding air until I loaded it on the trailer and the tube in the driver front blew out.
As you can see from the pics this thing has no rust through and no major dents..... it is a survivor! A great starting point for anyone looking tobuild an old truck.
