1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100 Additional Info:

1953 Chevy 3100 pickup truck, 216 motor, 3-speed transmission on the column

Frame-off restoration / project factory original

Local Pick up only within seven days of sale end - $500 due immediately at end of sale via Paypal - balance due in cash only at pick up. Sold as is, no warranty. View the pictures and ask any questions using Ebay. Can be hauled using a car hauler and parts in your truck, review pictures. Have a clean Ohio title.

Completed:

Frame, engine, radiator, transmission, clutch, suspension, brakes, all rebuilt - restored or replaced new and in good working order. All new gaskets, seals, bearings and bushings. Engine rebuilt and converted to 12 volts. Carburetor and distributer fully rebuilt. All new points, plugs, wires, distributer cap, and rotor. Basic electrical wiring done to allow engine start up and operation. Engine sanded, cleaned and painted in Engine enamel. New aluminum radiator - Old radiator in pictures, I installed new aluminum radiator after old one started leaking.

· Steering column restored and painted

· Shift handle and linkage restored and painted

· Gas, Brake, clutch, pedals restored and painted

· Seat frame / springs restored and painted

· Body panels have been water sandblasted - no body warp, and painted with Epoxy primer.

· Patch Panels have been welded in on all four corners of the cab, spot panels installed on the bed panels.

· New wood bed panel kit.

· New tail gate

· New bed mounts

· Bed cross floor supports - three new ones

· New interior kit, ceiling and door panels, arm rest, sun visors, rear view mirror, and glove box.

· Both Side mirrors

· Both Door window regulators

· All door hinges, (need rebuilt)

· Both Windows "wings" - need rebuilt and glass needs replacing

· All Interior, exterior, chrome

· Four rims, six lug

· Original radiator, (leaks), Original heater & box

· Original gas tan, new sending unit, gaskets and hose

· 4 - Old tires, will only hold air for short time

· Body panels, bed box, and cab need to be completed - primer / filler paint, body filler, color paint, and clear coat

· Nuts, bolts, and screws to put body panel back together, install on the frame

I have been restoring this truck for over three years. Now it is ready to start the body work and my facilities are not sufficient for large-scale painting. I love doing the mechanical work, not so much the body work. So, I am willing to sell now and look for another project that has no major body work.
