BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
1953 Chevy Truck
Title shows aprox 29k original miles, and judging by the last
owners stories, I can believe it. In short, it never really got
driven much by the original owner. The 2nd owner got it and for
some reason pulled the engine and freshened it up, but seeing
as it was such low miles, Im thinking it was just new gaskets and stuff
installed. The carb was just rebuilt for sure. I can tell you the front
shocks look to be the originals. The truck for its age has very minimal
rust and almost no rot on it. Tailgate, cab corners and rockers I think
are in great shape, but check out the pics below. The worst of it are
on the front floorboards and even thats not too bad.
Press on the starter button on the floor and hit the gas a few times
and it starts up and runs pretty decent. Idles okay too. Ive not tried
to tune it up or anything, and Im sure with a little work it could run
even better. Not sure how good the gas tank is from it sitting so long so
for now we have it running off a small gas source under the hood.
Read below for more details and pix !
We can help get it shippedfor a fair price too anywhere.

DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND, apparently some people
who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules.
So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to
make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid.
These cars are getting harder to find esp in this condition
that are still affordable to most buyers.

DRIVETRAIN: this truck has what I believe the original straight 6 in it.
Its been freshened up, but the old owners wife couldnt verify exactly how
much. The motor other been being a little dirty, is very clean for its age.
Clutch, 4 spd trans with granny gear, and brakes feel fine. Its very original
and unmolested under the hood, but did notice some new modern wire
loom in a few areas. Tires are very dry and old, rollers at best.

INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, the interior of this car is pretty well
worn out and probably the first thing you would want to repair. Fix the
interior and take care of all the mechanics and drive it the way it is.
Front seat is actually not bad, but no real sunvisors, carpet or door panels.
Paint on the dash it toasty, and we do have the speedo out. You could drive it
as is once you fix the mechanicals...
or fully restore it to your taste.

EXTERIOR:the body pretty straight for its age,
Rust is pretty mild and the rot anywhere is minimal too
All the chrome is in really nice shape outside the truck.
PS flat door glass is cracked, the rest is okay..
ALL the rubber gaskets are toast of course..
and sometimes its hard to latch the PS door.
Wood in the bed looks to be original from 1953.....

SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see .. but old.
We heard normal old weird noises clunks while moving around to the store.
Works okay as is, but Im sure will need repairs due to ite age.
Check out the front shocks, they look to be the original Spiral GM style.
With more investigation, you may very well come to the conclusion that this
is an aprox 29k original mile truck.

Minimal rust under the car, making taking this car apart, almost a breeze !!

There you have it, probably The BEST represented 3100s on Ebay.

Shows you all the good as well as any bad, hope you appreciate them.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars and it shows.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks on end.
Having as much as the original steel on a restored car these days
speaks volumes.
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort
of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.

Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
much feasibly possible via pics.
Dont let auctions withlittle to no pics try to fool you.
If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they
are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance.
With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect
until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars ALL OVER
with great pics to help making your decision easier.
Along with ANY other questions you may have.
