1964 Chevrolet Impala 2dr Hardtop Additional Info:

1964 Impala 2Dr Hardtop "Clean Slate"This Impala offers a great opportunity to customize your dream car exactly the way you want it. I've owned this extraordinary car for more than 20 years, and it has been safely garaged for more than 18 years. Bodywork is almost complete, and the rear passenger quarter panel, trunk, and floor have been professionally replaced. The car is solid, except for a few inches of rust in the far back near the back bumper. The front and rear bumpers were removed for the body work, but are included.
This Impala was manufactured with a V6, but now has a 327 with a rare 2-speed Powerglide transmission. The engine was running great before the gas tank was removed to restore the body, but I'm sure after all these years in storage it will need a tune-up.
I have 95%+ of the chrome for it, and many extra pieces, including extra dash gauges and lots of interior pieces. (I had a four door '64 Impala parts car that I took many extra pieces from.) It comes with the back glass, sail windows, and driver's side window. It needs a windshield and passenger side window.
For the interior, I have the top and bottom pieces of the back seat, but they will need restoration. I have all the panels, the plastic pieces are fine, but the rest are in bad shape. It needs a front seat. I purchased a new carpet for it before it went in storage, it's still in the box, but it might not be usable anymore.
This car is in storage in Eau Claire, WI and I have a clean title in hand for it. Local buyers are strongly preferred but if you're willing to pay for enclosed shipping, that's ok also. Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. Car sold AS IS and I reserve the right to sell before the auction ends if someone makes me a great offer.
I'll be happy to answer any questions and will respond quickly.
