This truck is a great project, it has almost all the body work done it will need to be finished up and you can decide the style. The gentleman that was having it restored passed away so this is why it's available.

This body work was professionally done, it has been roughed out and will need to be blocked out to finish before paint. The body shop was under orders to remove any rust, replace with metal and take dents out so there would be a minimum of filler used. There is a little rust in the lift gate they didn't get to and both front floors will need small patches where there is some pinholes starting (see pics). The body was separated from the frame to install new body mounts and it looks like all the rubber fuel lines were also replaced at that time. It's a very straight truck, many were used to the point of very rough. The body shop lost the bumpers, it's actually cheaper to buy new than re-chrome anymore. The front bumper brackets are included as well as a box of emblems/misc..

The interior was previously started by another owner, the headliner was replaced and the front seat recovered. The rear seat is included, it's the frame only. The door panels are missing, not sure if body shop lost them. The rear floor is rotted but it's only plywood so an easy repair. The rest of the interior is there and would need to be restored to your taste.

The engine is a 350, not sure if it's the original and it looks like it had some upgrades in the past. We tried to start it when I was there and I think it's out of gas (gauge not working) but they drove it home from the body shop a couple of weeks ago, it had sat a year ago before and was reported to me that it ran good. I will get over there again this week with some gas and get it started. I would definitely service it before putting it out on the road but it was a daily driver before going into the body shop. I always like to see heater cores still hooked up, it tells you the cooling system is in good shape because it's not leaking. The radiator looks virtually new and is a 3 core heavy duty and has the original shroud. The wheels are factory 8" GM truck rims and the tires are in good shape.

I think this is a great project, it could be a full on resto-mod with 22" wheels and an LS6 drive train, slammed to the ground or factory original. This is the canvass to create your dream finish and it's had some of the hard work done.
The Buy-It-Now is in line with the overall condition and current market, your welcome to make an offer the owner can think about. I know the guy had spent more at the body shop than the BIN and his wife knows that there is over $10K spent but understands the market. There is no interest in any trades.

I welcome inspections, the car is in Fresno, CA and can be viewed by appointment, generally after 4:00 during the week or weekends. The winner will receive clear title CA title. I can assist with arranging shipping to your location or make recommendations for shipping, of course it can be picked up in person after we have received funds. It will be drivable to load on transport or your car trailer, I don't recommend driving it a long distance until it has been serviced.
