1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Additional Info:

Offered for sale by owner is a 1955 Chevy BelAir 2-dr postBIGBLOCK 427 -5 SPEED!!! I know that's enough to get your attention, but there's a lot more to this one. The engine has been professionally rebuilt and maintained. It'sthe390hp version of a `68 Corvette blockbored40 over with Eagle I-Beam rods, forged pistons, Crower cam (280 HDP), Edlebrock BBC-RPM intake and 650 CFM Thunder Series carburetor; roller rockers; and it was balanced while in the machine shop. As she sits she puts out over 450hp. The heads were rebuilt withheavy duty springs and valve keepers. Spark is provided froma MSD distributor through Taylor Full Metal Jacket Wires. The exhaust system starts with Hedman Ceramic-Coated Headers that are connected tobalanced Flow Master 2"pipes.Keeping this big block cool is a Griffin Cross-Flow Aluminum Radiator with dual electric fans. The front end hasJim Meyer Racing Rack & Pinion Power Steering with 2" drop spindles connected to a Ididit Polished Steering Column with a custom steering wheel. To stop this beauty are 4-wheel disc brakes. The engine is backed upto a Borg Warner "Z-28" Camaro 5-speed and a "Z-28" 3.73 10-boltposi-traction rear. She rides on 16" Center Line Polished Wheels with "Z" Rated Bridgestone Tires. Inside the cabin you will keep your cool with Vintage Air Conditioning and monitor things with a Dakota Digital Dash. Sounds come from a Kenwood Stereo and Amp with a 10-disc Changer. At night the road ahead is plenty bright with Halogen Headlightsand LED's front and rear. The upholstery and carpetingare in like-new condition and so is the fully lined trunk with a polished battery case. The glass, carpet and chrome is in Like-New condition except for 1 small scratch on the rear bumper. The body is straight without any rusttopto bottom. The paint is older but stillin good condition. I have owned this car since 05/2004 and it has been garaged 100% of the time. She's a driver, not a trailer queen. We've put about 28,000 miles on her over the past 13 years. She has a nicelobe at idle and with the balanced exhaust system shehas asmoothroar going down the highway. She looks fairly stockbutwhen youfire up that Big Block shealways turns heads. Thiscarhas beenused as acruisertocar shows and our car clubcruises both short and long.she hasthepower and speed when you want it butshe's never been abused. I have clear title to the Chevy with a California Issued Pink Slip. I have anWritten Appraisal that places the value of this `55 at over $60,000. I have all of the documents and receipts going back to before I purchased her.
