1962 Chevrolet Impala SS trim Additional Info:

What I have here is a 1962 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport that I am listing for my eccentric friend and elderly neighbor. The car is a resto-mod of sorts, in that all of the sheet metal is original and straight, BUT the car has been upgraded with a multitude of late model parts that enhance the drivability and reliability of the car. The car is a model # 184, making it an original SS. Again, all of the sheet metal is laser straight, and all of the trim including the chrome bumpers and bright work is perfect. The trim on both the outside and the dash is engine turned and in perfect condition. The car sports a Chevy 350 engine with 4 bold mains, an Edelbrock 650 carburetor, ceramic coated shortie headers and new exhaust that appears to be stainless and therefore has no signs of rust. The transmission is a Turbo 350, and the car has a complete “vintage air” system as well as power steering, power brakes with an upgrade to discs up front, and an ididit billet tilt steering column. The radiator is a Walker aluminum unit with a thermostatically controlled fan.

The pics are dated 2008 BUT the car is kept in a climate controlled building and exercised regularly. It looks EXACTLY as it does in the pictures.

The wheels are Cragar Street Pro rims with B F Goodrich T A’s that are new. I also replaced all 4 coil springs with new, calibrated and matched 4400 pound units from a 409 Impala. The shocks are all new Gabriel units. The stereo has an integrated MP3 player and CD stacker, and is trunk mounted. The original radio is installed, and the controls for the upgraded Sony stereo are in the center console. The pictures will show that the interior is red and is in flawless condition!

This car is in PERFECT CONDITION and needs ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! It is kept in a climate controlled garage, and has 84,000 miles on the clock. This is a native SOUTHERN CAR. You can drive it anywhere!!! Also, all of the modifications including the installation of the crate motor, suspension, interior upgrades etc. have been completed in the last 4 years!!!
