1969 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Z28 Package Additional Info:

1969 RS/Z28 Camaro! Rare opportunity to complete a numbers matching 1969 RS/Z28 Camaro! I've owned this car for 10 plus years and own several other 60's/70's Muscle Cars. This is a stalled restoration project that started as a complete running vehicle. I have over $30K invested and selling this with a heavy heart. You'll find the professionally rebuild original numbers matching DZ302 motor, rebuilt original drive train (Rear End and M21 "Rock Crusher" Transmission), sub frame and front suspension parts powder-coated complete. The original Van Nuys California built, rust free body has been media-blasted and the majority of the bodywork has all been completed. The right rear quarter panel needs to be replaced. The car came to me missing the original (Carb, Exhaust Manifold and any factory smog equipment). This is your dream RS/Z28 Camaro in a great color combination seen in it's original paint factor Burgundy, White Strips and Black Interior. This car is heavily optioned with 8K Tack, Clock, Endura Front Bumper, Center Console and gauges, RS/Z28 Package. Serious bidders only! I'm a first time seller on EBay, but a real Muscle Car Buff. The car is at my home. Please call me with your questions and you are welcome to come see the car. 951-840-5692.

The "N" in the VIN denotes a Norwood, Ohio built car (Not Van Nuys built as stated, but the car was first sold at Cormier Chevrolet in Los Angeles, California and registered in California. Finally found VIN on Block.
The engine is completely rebuilt, so I can't see or take a pictures of DZ markings on engine deck. The engine was decked when rebuild, so those numbers are probably gone anyway. The engine was professionally built by Joe Sherman Racing in Santa Ana, California. The engine has many internal performance upgrades (Pistons, Rods, Cam, Roller Rockers) while maintaining original block and hardened valve seats, ported and polished stock heads. The engine has newer electronic ignition/distributor and a performance high capacity oil pan. Most all original internal parts were maintained for documentation.
I currently don't have the the "Trim Tag" in hand, but I have pictures of it attach to the car. I'm battling with the body shop that last had the car that I had to take it from. They are holding is hostage even though all my bills have been paid in full. I expect to get it back, but the bottom line is it's not currently on the car.
All date codes and numbers match on the original M21 rebuilt transmission, but I can find a VIN stamped anywhere on transmission? I sure its the original because that's what put the car out of service.
There are (4) very small pen holes in trunk bottom (NO major rust, easily coated and painted. Does NOT require replacing any sheet metal.) Pictures available.
The (4) rims are the right size and nicely powder coated job color, but are not original RH Rims.
I'm looking through storage for original radiator, distributor and other small parts. Currently they are NOT with the car. I believe I still have those parts. I did fine (2) original California BLACK PLATES in good condition that are still registered to the car. This was an Original paint car with Hood, Trunk, Doors and Front Clip still in original paint Burgundy. I have All Glass in good condition. No exhaust system or manifolds, smog system! Original doors are as pictured, good, but need moderate body work or (2) replacements.
I will continue to make updates as I get new or corrected information. I believe I've hit the most important one's (RS/Z28 Car, DZ302 Engine, M21 Trans, 12m-Bolt Posi Rear End, Interior and RS/Z28 Body Trim) and there should be no surprises.
This concludes my updates, corrections and new information for 3/19/17 Bid responsively!
