This vehicle was a school bus used in rural Arizona for most of its life. 3-on the tree, straight 6cyl. I bought it from the second owner, (first being the state of AZ,) who gave it acheap paint job sometime in the 1980's. The Arizona climate was kind to this old Suburban. Rust is minimal, none structural.

We are a premium detailing product company, (AdamsPolishes.com) and bought this rig to create a marketing vehicle to run the Hot Rod Power Tour last year. It was sent immediately to Weaver Customs in West Jordan, Utah to be 'created.' In all, we invested just over $52,000 building this Chevrolet. WeaverCustoms builds amazing stuff, and a quick Google search will make you proud to own and drive a Weaver Custom.

Here is what was done, andall upgrades were carried outwith brand new parts:

  • RideTech rear 4bar kit
  • RideTech upper and lower front A arm kit
  • Adjustable coil overs on all 4 corners
  • GM 12 bolt rear with 3.73 posi
  • Vintage Air- Ice Cold
  • Dakota Digital Gages, custom.
  • New LS3 Connect and Cruise kit with 4L80E trans (JEGS, under warranty)
  • DYNO Results show 384 RWHP and Max Torque of 372.
  • The new LS3's have 430HP at the crank, and the typical lossthrough the drivetrain is 20%. This was measured in Utah, at 4,400ft above sea level. It may well be over 400HP at the wheels, at seal level...as elevation robs air, and horsepower.
  • Flowmaster exhaust and 3" pipes that dump just behind the rear wheels.
  • 18" up front, and 20" rear Detroit Steel Wheels, Powdercoated red
  • Wilwood Brakes with the power brake conversion
  • Alpine bluetooth CD Head Unit
  • 2 Kicker Hideaways 6x9s and 5 inch door components
  • Front seats from a 2006 Suburban or Silverado, center console flips up to a 3rd bench seat.
  • Seats are functional electric adjusted with lumbar.
  • Rear seats from a 2014 Tahoe, police interceptor.
  • Dynamat heat and noise reducing protection under rubberized flooring.
  • Air Horn is loud.
Extras: I have lots of extras. Window rubber, extra glass, bumpers, window rollers, bins of stuff. All comes with, and will come in handy if your plan is to paint the vehicle. It has only one middle seatbelt in the rear. It needs the side mounted belts for the outside seats.
We spent over $50K building this rig. We built it as a company promo vehicle, and went nuts. The 2016 Hot Rod Power Tour went from New Orleans to Kansas City. Truck ran beautifully, and is a true pleasure to drive.
Don't buy this vehicle unless you can come see and drive it. You will want to see it. You will want to drive it. I won't ship it to you unless you, or someone you trust very much comes to see it in Colorado. This is NOT for everyone. It's loud, it screams, it's a beast, and everywhere you go, people surround the vehicle and ask questions. I will pick you up from the airport, pay for your Uber, or send a team member if you choose to come see and drive this vehicle.
You want to drive it home, no matterwhereyou live. It is an absolute pleasure to drive, and has all comforts for along road trip. Issues? Go to a GM dealer andplug it in to the computer.
Happy to answer any questions.
Thanks for looking! - Adam

On Mar-11-17 at 09:37:51 PST, seller added the following information:

Thanks for your many questions, and if you have more, and would like to talk, my number is three zero three, 718, 9480. I'd rather not end the auction early. The buy it now willdisappear when the reserve is met. We are close to that point as of 3/11/17. Once the Reserve is met, the high bid is the winning bid.
I would drive this from Colorado to the corners of the continent, confidently. (Certainly, I'm not going to offer awarranty, as this is a completely custom build, however, it's built very well, and has enough miles on it to .) We can put our plates on, or, ideally, we can swing by the DMV and get some temporary plates for your trip home. I will pick you up from the airport in Denver, to see, drive, or buy this rig.
It's really a good idea to see this vehicle before you buy it, as if you win the bid, we ship it to you, and then decide it's not for you, it's yours. This nice old Chevrolet is sold AS-IS.
I just found a bunch of extras, including new glass, a new bumper, rear window guides, one of theoriginal seat springs, and a few bins of parts.
Thanks, Adam
