1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS Additional Info:

1969 Chevrolet Camaro. X44 car with RS upgrade and many overall upgrades making this one extreme protouring Camaro. Needs approximately 3 weeks worth of work to be completed. Please read below for all details. I am deployed in Afghanistan, I can respond to all emails, but for anything local to Ohio I will have to coordinate with the shop owner and sales will be handled through my POA.
The quick rundown on the car is I started this while I was working in Iraq. The car was stripped, acid dipped, and built back up with new or NOS parts. I sent it to Classic Resurrection in Columbus, OH who did the perfection work on the body panels, prepped for paint, painted and assembled the car back to roller form. The Paint is PPG Sunset Red over Pure Gold. The grey paint used is called PPG Grigio Ingrid, it is a Ferrari stock color code. I have the invoices at my house and I can have them made available. Over $60,000 spent at Classic Resurrection. The car was then sent to Dayton Performance Motorsports where it received a hand built LSX427 engine with forged internals, 12 bolt custom Moser 4.11 rear differential, BMR torque-arm coil-over rear suspension assembly, keyless entry and remote trunk popper, all new wiring kit with 18 circuit/fuse configuration, and more with a PDF invoice adding up to $53,445.51. The invoices do not include the majority of the parts I purchased, in total I have spent $180,000.Below is a short list of parts I pulled from email invoices, other parts not listed include the Global West Stage 4 suspension up front with GW tubular A-arms; SSBC Force-10 4-piston 14" disk brakes up front, all stainless steel brake lines, Tremec TKO-600 5 speed trans (Hurst short shift kit and shifter ball white), chromoly driveshaft (needs painted or powdercoated, last shop ground off the powdercoat for some reason), VintageAir system (it was a stock AC car, added the VintageAir to make it up to date, comes with the VintageAir compressor extra since I got a matching one with the Drive Junky satin AL kit); new center console with gauges, LED tail lights, and probably a lot more I can't remember.Interior needs assembled the rest of the way, glass installed, stereo equipment was stolen so you will need to purchase and install, finish the rest of the wiring (mostly completed, interior needs finished wiring and not sure what is left to get the engine started as far as wiring goes). I can put you in contact with the last mechanic to work on the car, it is currently stored at a friend's shop/garage. The mechanic I just mentioned is out of the state at the moment and unable to complete the car becauseof that reason. This is the 3rd place I have sent the car so I'd prefer to just sell it rather than find another shop and lose parts in the moving process again, hence the reason for selling before it is completed.With all of these mods the suspension should allow for over 1g skidpad. The engine is limited to 600HP due to the Holley Terminator EFI system; this is on purpose since the car is not caged, the BMR torque-arm system and Global West subframe connectors re-inforce the chassis to handle 600HP and will make this a great handling car. A lot of weight has been removed from the stock Camaro, depending on what you add this car will be under 3,000 pounds; with current parts installed I believe it weighs just over 2,700 pounds, so 600HP should be plenty. If you hunger for more power, simply change out the throttle body system or change from the carb look to anything you want; engine should be capable of over 700hp...just make sure you modify the chassis to handle the power increase and note the driveline is manufacturer limited to 650hp/650 torque. I have engineered this car to max out these specs without causing any driveline or chassis failures, a lot of design and thought went into this build. If the end result is a 3,000 pound car with 600hp, that will give you a car with 1hp per 5 pounds. For reference all of these cars have "pounds per horsepower" over 5: 2017 Dodge Viper SRT 5.24, 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 5.42, 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 5.97, 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat 6.29.
