1979 Chevrolet C-10 Additional Info:

Here is a nice Chevy truck that has numerous custom features and looks great. It runs fine, with adequate power to fry the tires and will bark them again when it shifts into second if you want to do so. I am not in the habit of doing so, but it is nice to know you can. The paint job is nice, the color really pops in the sun with a lot of gold pearl. If you have any questions that are not answered here, send me an email, I will respond promptly. Following are some details:

Engine/Trans: Original 350 with four bolt mains, completely rebuilt .030 over, with Ross pistons, roller rockers and a mild performance Comp cam 7000 miles ago. Starter, oil pump and water pump were also replaced when the engine was rebuilt. New fuel pump and the original Rochester 4 barrel carb works fine. Stock GM HEI ignition. Turbo 400 transmission also completely rebuilt and a moderate shift kit was also installed at the same time the engine was done. Good battery, new oversize radiator to keep it cool.

Interior: New carpet, new custom premium seat cover, new door interior panels, new window cranks, new dash cap with custom burnt orange to match door panels, new door glass belt weatherstrips and upper fuzzies, new Pyle stereo and speakers, new seat belts. Freshly polished sill plates. Nice door to cab seals, not dry rotted at all. There are extra new inner belt and vent window post weatherstrips under the seat.

Body: New front bumper, new billet aluminum grill, polished grill stainless and headlight bezels. New fenders and aprons, new windshield, rolled rear pan with frenched taillights and LED reverse lights. New oak bed floor with five coats of urethane clear. Paint is PPG DBC Orange Candy Pearl #F501-T, with three coats of urethane clear. Frenched in antenna mounted in the passenger cab corner comes up when radio is on. Nice decorative pinstripes on tailgate.

Tires and wheels: New front tires, decent rear tires, nicely media blasted and repainted wheels with polished trim rings and new center cap appliques. All tires hold air and do not leak.

Brakes: Work great and no pulling. One year oldmaster cylinder, new rear wheel cylinders, new rear brake hose, new rear brake lines. Front rotors, calipers, pads and hoses were replaced 7000 miles ago when engine and transmission were rebuilt. Rear shoes also replaced 7000 miles ago.

Rear axle: 10 Bolt stock unit, nice and quiet.

Exhaust: Stock manifolds with dual exhaust. Drone free turbo style mufflers with a nice rumble, quiet cruising down the road, but bark pretty good when you accelerate hard. Nice Chrome tips.

All in all, this is a cool truck that gets a lot of compliments and drives well.

Now the legal stuff: I am not a dealer, just a Mopar collector that is running out of space and needs to sell a few cars and this truck doesn't fit in with all my Mopars. Therefore, the truck is sold as-is, where-is with no warranty whatsoever. I will require a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $1000.00 via Paypal within 48 hours of auction close. I will not end the auction early for a buy-it-now offer. That would not be fair to bidders that like to wait until the last minute to place their bid. The balance of the purchase price must be paid within seven days of the auction close. Acceptable forms of payment include: cash at pickup, wire transfer, or a cashier's check that has cleared my local bank. If you are local and would like to see the truck, or would like to have an appraiser check it out, just let me know and we'll make an appointment. I am not interested in any trades and do not offer financing. I will be happy to work with a shipper if that is your plan. The truck must be picked up prior to April 7th, since I will be leaving to return to my Michigan summer home at that time. Please understand that bidding on this truck means you accept my terms and intend to complete the sale. If you are an ebay veteran, I apologize for making you read all this, but some rookies think that winning an ebay auction means you can then show up and try to negotiate a better deal, that is not how this works. You win the auction, you bought the truck and are expected to complete the sale.
