1941 Chevrolet Other Pickups Additional Info:

1941 Chevrolet Truck. This was the first year this 9 foot bed Cargo Hauler was made available to the farmer to take his goods to Market. As of December 7th, Pearl Harbor Day, the assembly line was shut down after only manufacturing around 3,100 of these trucks. The ones that were not complete were mothballed and sold later in 1946 after the war. This makes this a rare truck according to the Chevrolet Heritage Foundation. Only 1 truck was shipped to New York State and this was it. It spent it's life on a blueberry farm and according to the owner's grandson claim, the truck spent 90% of it's nights in the barn. I have owned this truck for a few years and used it as a sign for my firewood company. The motor was updated to a 1955 or 1957 Chevy straight six, along with the 4 speed which was updated to a 3 speed for easier shifting and cruising. This was all done prior to me owning the truck. It runs great, shifts great and is fun to drive. The bench seat appears to be recovered. 12 volt system, wires and directionals. Windows open and close including the windshield as they should. It has a later model horn. The truck has always been stored inside at night or during bad weather. It starts on a dime. It has the original vacuum wiper motor which still works. It has the original heater but it is not hooked up. A later model rear bumper was added. I was told by the previous owner that this truck never came with a rear tailgate, perhaps because it was taken off the assembly line during the war era and it was never reintroduced. You can feel how solid this truck is after you open and close the doors. This truck is being sold as is....the photos speak for themselves. Please feel free to ask any questions or send a representative to check it out prior to bidding. You must have 100% good feedback to leave a bid. $1,000 deposit is required from the winning bidder no longer than one day from the end of this auction. Total payment via wire transfer from your bank to mine required no later than 4 days after the auction ends. I will give you one month to have a shipper pick up the truck

Thanks for looking! Good luck.
