1939 Chevrolet Other standard Additional Info:

Frame was removed and sandblasted by a professional, then painted withPor 15. Body was sandblasted by a pro also, no warping. He left a little Bondo on doors and fenders as he didn't want to chance warping. It will sand off easily and won't require more than a skim coat. I sprayed the bottom and inside with epoxy primer thinking I would get to the outside body soon, but haven't.

Hood front fenders and grille are invery goodcondition.

Back fenders are fair but will require a little metal work. P.O. was unskilled and preferred Bond to working out the dents where he had backed up by Braille.

I have a new aluminum radiator with cooling fan.

I installed a Heidts MustangII independent front suspension with 2'' drop spindles and power rack and pinion steering. It has 11' disc brakes also.

Rear end is a 8.8 from a ''99 explorer with disc brakes and can be locked.

I have spot welded a new firewall with a 2'' backset for a v-8 engine.

I have a new front floor tacked in and have new toe boards and new transmission tunnel not yet installed.

In the back, I got lucky and found a original trunk lid to replace the rotted out one on the car. It has a couple dents but have almost got them pulled out.

I also have a new trunk extension (tool Box) andrear tail pan tacked in.

I have running boards also but they should probably be replaced.

The original gas tank has been boiled out and sealed.

I have a box of complete new glass for the car.

The dash board components are complete and boxed for reuse. All the door handles, lights, etc. were also boxed for reuse. I do not have the original steering shaft or wheel but have one from a newer car you can have.

I do have the original seat and has been reupholstered.

The Chevy 283engine is newly rebuilt and has not even been fired up yet as is the 700r4 transmission.

I have other projects that I would like to work on and would like to thin the herd so come buy this little jewel and lighten the load.
