1966 Chevrolet El Camino Additional Info:

1966 El Camino roller body only.......This has been on our place since 1996 and we have the Title, will come with a bill of sale also.As you can see it's not toobad a shape, but has a good cowl tag and complete and decent firewall area and good doors and door glass, rear window area is rusted some as are the floors and other areas, but is minor. Frame has surface rust only-no holes or rusted through places,Quarter wheel well and inner fender areas not to bad, hood has the most rust. Car has been off the ground and on wheels. This was a V8,Powerglide(RPO-m35),10 bolt car(3;36). Options were-Power steering, with Power brakes, Air conditioning(RPO-C60), Tinted windshield)RPO-A02. Bench seat-no console, Factory color was Lemonwood Yellow/Yellow, with med. Fawn, Lt. Fawn Imitation Leather interior. factory air shocks w/hard line in vehicle.I carried the licenseplate to the dmv and tried to go back to the last time it was registered off the VIN, but it was off the system as it was last on the road in 1996 and been sitting on our place under the trees since then. The dash is in real good shape-missing only the a/c htr controls and has the wrong steering column(4-speed column)and a differentsteering wheel(this had the wood teak option wheel and we put in on another car) one of the kids tried to change the color to blue on the inside with spray paint. sorryOn to more facts::in one of our weaker momentswe installed a pontiac hood mountedtachometer from a '67'68 GTO with all the wiring still there and it worked last time the engine was in the vehicle. The pass door was replaced due to a tractor backing into it years ago.and the outside door latch does notreach to open it, but the door opens from the inside well, the back window rubber has sagged and will be removed for shipping or pickup. There are a few dents around the vehicle but nothing to serious(the biggestbeing the pass front quarter panel), all, the chrome trim is there except the driver fender corner piece(see grille pics), bed has usual rust, the tailgateopens and closes well. The wiring harness is pretty much all there-with some ends cut off. The power steering pump is there. There is also a rear trailer hitch(factory?not sure), but our '68 has the same type on it.What you see here is what you get.but I do have all the rear brake parts in a bag . The vinyltop was on it when we got thecar and was green, but I can't find if it had the black or white from the factory. The doors open very well and with no sag and all windows roll up and down . The 10 bolt single track was removed long ago to put in our camaro and a temp type non-functionalunit put in to be able to roll the vehicle around.but all in all this is a good candidate for a restoration, This car has body work needed as you can see, but not like I see in others here on Eba, still very rebuildable!!!!!!!The car does roll and we can help load on a trailer, but the shipping and delivery is the buyer's responsibility. Car is not in our way if needed to sit here a month or two. Just be respectful. This car does not run,or come with an engine or trans or interior, it will need to be towed on a trailer and comes with a Title and bill of sale.. A low reserve auction, A $50.00 nonrefundable deposit tobe received within 12 hrs of auction close and Full pmt to be received with-in 3 days of auction close and feedback will be left as soon as it's received. We have other cars we are going to sell over the next few months so check back.
