1965 Chevrolet Corvette Additional Info:

Up for Auction is this 1965 Big Block Coupe. I am told this car started life as a 396/425 HP 4 Speed, now has an early 454 with 1965 Oval Port Heads and Aluminum Intake. Previous owner told me the bottom end had low miles but the camshaft was entirely too big for street use and needed to be changed. I purchased this car with the intention of a Rest O Rod restoration but I can not bring myself to cutting this car up! I have owned it for 16 months and have not touched it.
Body is just setting on the frame, ready to remove for restoration and includes new body mounts and hardware. The seats and tracks are in very nice condition along with the gauge cluster, clock, radio, and glove box. The windshield and back glass are just sitting in place and will need to be cushioned and taped for transport. All the pictured parts are included in the sale and will be packed in the car for transport. If you don't see a part in the pictures, it is not included!!! Car will have to be trailered as it is not in running or stopping condition. Please ask any questions you have.
Car has new Shimmer Shim Quarter Panels with correct bonding strips. (very well done in my opinion) Front fenders seam to be 1966 OEM. Major parts missing are Radiator, Shroud, Headliner, Carpet, Fuel Line,Exhaust from manifolds back, and all wiring.
New parts I have purchased include: Fuel Tank, Sending Unit/Pick Up, Fill neck Assembly, HEI Distributor with Tachometer Drive, Cap, Rotor, and Coil, Cam Shaft, Lifters, Push Rods, Rocker Arm Assemblies, Valve Grind Gasket Kit, Brake Hoses, Windshield Gasket, Ecklers AM/FM Stereo, Stainless Screw Assortment Kit, Body Mounts with Hardware, and fresh Body Cradle with new Casters.
I had the Head Light Motors rebuilt to NCRS Specifications.
A $1,000.00 Deposit in due through PayPal within 24 hours of auction end. Balance due with in 7 days of auction end. (NO EXCEPTIONS) Balance is due in cash, certified funds, or wire transfer. Car will not leave until until funds have transferred into my account. I will happy to assist buyer or transport company with loading. Any Questions?? personett@frontier.com. I will call you back.
