1970 Chevrolet C-10 STEPSIDE Additional Info:

MAY BE OPEN TO TRADESUp for sale is a fully custom 1970 Chevy C/10 step side, short wheel base pick-up. The truck is absolutely bad-ass as you can see and draws a crowd everywhere she is driven! This custom truck is fully bagged, lays frame on 20's. This classic C/10 pick-up truck can easily be driven locally to a show or across the country. Clean and clear title in hand, ready for her new owner. The C/10 started out as a super clean, one owner truck that still has all the factory "Ziebart" plugs throughout the body making the truck virtually rust free. The truck retains all of its original factory sheet metal including the floors pans, cab-corners, fenders, hood, bed, tailgate, doors, etc. The truck started its life as a 6 cylinder, 3spd manual transmission truck. Details: DRIVETRAIN: The truck has a fresh 355cid GM crate motor backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a Ford 8.8 rear-end with 3:73 gears and 4 wheel power disc brakes. The motor has an Edelbrock intake manifold with a Holley carb, and a set of "block hugger" headers with a full exhaust system that features a set of Flow Master mufflers which dumps just before the rear axle. There is a MSD box located inside the glovebox that powers the HEI distributor. The truck fires up by simply tapping the key and runs and drives MUCH better than you would expect. SUSPENSION: The front suspension on the C/10 has been converted to Mustang II and features new upper and lower tubular control arms as well as a new power rack & pinion steering. The rear has been c-notched and boxed for additional strength and features a custom parallel 4 link suspension system. The air ride is controlled by a ViAir compressor and utilizes larger air lines for a more controllable lift and adjustable ride heights. There is one control solenoid per wheel for optimal ride and adjustment qualities and this also allows you to raise and lower each wheel independently, raise or lower the front or rear independently or raise and lower the entire truck simultaneously. All of the air ride components including tank, compressor, solenoids and valves are located below the bed of the truck making it cleaner and quieter. WHEELS / TIRES: The wheel are OEM Dodge Ram 20" steelies that have been stripped and powder-coated bright red. They have custom 1934 Ford "V8" hubcaps installed as well as 20" stainless trim rings. The tires are brand new and have less than 200 miles on them (still have the little nipples). EXTERIOR: cleaned and prepped, it was painted with a custom blended two tone green base, followed by several coats of clear. The truck was then wet sanded and buffed and looks and shines great as you can see in the pictures. The C/10 has new chrome bumpers, new marker lights, new taillights, new mirrors, restored OEM grill, new windshield, new window seals, new door weather stripping, new tonneau cover, etc. The C/10 does have some minor imperfections from usage, after all the truck was built to be driven and enjoyed and not a trailer queen. The truck has a22 gallon rear mounted fuel tank that's filler neck is located in the truck bed. Simply lift back the vinyl tonneau cover to fill the tank and you're on your way, neat, clean, tight. INTERIOR: The interior has also been completely refurbished from top to bottom including all new paint, new floor insulation, a new carpet kit installed, new chrome sill plates, new door weather stripping, new window felts, new interior chrome hardware, new seat upholstery (with subtle green thread stitching), new iPod / Mp3 / Bluetooth stereo system with custom fiberglass kick panel speaker pods, refurbished chrome gauge cluster with working speedometer, oil pressure, fuel and water temperature gauges, a custom 1964 Impala steering wheel, new dash pad, new seat belts, etc. If you're looking for an absolutely flawless, $40K trailer queen then keep looking as this is not your girl. However, if you are looking for a classic C/10 truck, a one-off custom bagger truck that lays frame and is guaranteed to draw crowds whenever driven and at half the cost THEN THIS IS FOR YOU. Just to be clear, this truck is not perfect as it was built to be driven and enjoyed, but better than 90% out there for sure. This truck is solid, reliable and looks runs and drives better than new. Terms: The truck is being sold "as is" and "where is" so please ask questions or better yet, come see the truck in person.
