TRULY A ONE-OF-A-KIND CLASSIC TRUCK THAT LOOKS EVEN BETTER IN PERSON!!
AS THEY SAY HERE IN THE SOUTH, THIS C-10 "HITS A GOOD LICK"!!
IF YOU HAVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A SHOW QUALITY C-10 THAT YOU CAN GET IN AND DRIVE AND ENJOY THE MOMENT IT ARRIVES THEN THIS IS THE ONE!!!
There is no denying that the 1967-1972 Chevrolet C-10 trucks have been a hot category in the collector car and truck market for the past few years. If you have been searching for one you have probably noticed quite a few that all look somewhat similar and perhaps you want one that truly stands out in a crowd and has received a high end, professional restoration and is ready to be driven and enjoyed the minute it arrives to your driveway. Well, that is what I was searching for when I located this absolutely gorgeous '69 C-10 in Kentucky. This truck actually spent its entire life in a small town in Kentucky where it was first sold at White Chevrolet as can be seen on the original warranty protecto plate and original owners manual. Well, fast forward about 47 years and this little old farm truck is now a drop dead gorgeous restomod show truck that was built to be driven and enjoyed. I bought it from the gentleman who had the majority of the restoration work done right there in Manchester, Kentucky where the car started out. An older gentleman before him had bought the truck and started the restoration before passing away. The frame-off restoration was finished up about 2 years ago and only driven about 1000 miles since completed. Just enough miles to break in the ground-pounding 350 V8 for the next lucky owner...maybe you??!! While this truck still has somewhat of that classic look with a modern twist, one turn of the key and you know this is a serious Hot Rod that begs to be driven and shown off. Although I think the truck looks great in the pics, I think you will find it looks even better in person!!! I point this out because usually it is the other way around and any of you car enthusiasts who have made the drive to check out classic cars that look great in pics only to be greatly disappointed when you travel hours and see it up close know what I mean. I will do my best to provide you with enough large images, a video of the truck starting up and running, and an honest description so you can decide if this C-10 should be in your garage! As with all of my classics I do have this truck listed on my website and several others. Therefore, if you decide you want to scoop it up before the next car guy or gal does, feel free to give me a call to discuss how we can make that happen. I welcome overseas buyers and can assist with getting you a great rate on Enclosed Transport anywhere in the country. Sit back and enjoy!!
The paint and body on this '69 C-10 is truly show quality. I do not use that phrase very often and I realize everyone has there own standards but I am confident that whoever buys this classic truck is going to agree with me and Icertainly welcome you to come inspect it in person if you prefer. The paint color is called Green Tea and to me it has a vintage look with a modern twist. Beautiful metallics glisten in the sun light. The roof is accented in a metallic black for a truly one of a kind combination. The body panels are amazingly straight and body gaps are most likely better than when the truck wasoriginally produced. This truck did start life as a long bed and was professionally converted to the short bed, step side you see here today. You would never know it if I did not mention it. The bed is all new metal and has a really coolbowtie emblem embossed in thefront of the bed. The bed itself is a gorgeous dark oak wood with marine varnish accented in body colored steel strips. This is probably not a truck you are going to haul stuff from Home Depot in but I doubt that is why you are considering it anyhow. All of the chrome, bumpers, emblems, etc. are all brand new. Glass was all replaced and nicely tinted including the big back windowwhich slides for some air flow to the cabin. The paint and body are truly near flawless. The only chip I noticed is a tiny one along the bottom edge of the drives side window. I was tempted to have our talented pinstripe expert lay down a classic Chevrolet Logo in script across the tailgate but decided to let the next owner decide if they would like to do that or not. I would be happy to have it done if whoever buys it would like that. As I said, this is a very high quality truck and the paint and body will not disappoint. Here is a walk around tour of the body which should show you what you need to see:

Complimenting the gorgeous Green Tea Metallic exterior is an equally impressive Black and White Houndstooth interior. Again, everything inside pretty much is new, new, new!!!! The Bench seat was professionally upholstered in the houndstooth fabric and is extremely comfortable. Tilt steering column with a leather wrapped Chevrolet steering wheel look great and provide lots of room for the larger drivers. Door panels, dash pad, carpeting, weatherstripping, headliner, are all new and look fantastic. Gauges are all working and as you will see this truck has a in-dash tach. This is a Factory A/C truck and the gentleman who did the restoration had started the modern a/c conversion but never finished it. There is a new compressor and dryer and under the hood and I have a condenser that will need to be installed along with the correct lines etc. Since we are in the cold of the winter I did not have this completed but it will be an easy job for a classic car shop to finish out if you decide you want ice cold a/c for the summer. Nice sounding am/fm/cd/mp3 system was neatly mounted in the dash. New fuel tank with electric fuel pump and new sending unit in the stock position. Seat belts installed for driver and passenger. As I mentioned previously the dark oak wood bed looks amazing. Take a look inside and you will see that the interior and bed area matches the quality of the exterior of this '69.

Well at this point hopefully you will agree that this is a fabulous looking truck and now maybe you are curious if it runs and drives as good as it looks. ABSOLUTELY!!! In fact, the drivetrain will take the smile on your face to an all out ear to ear grin as you turn the key and start this bad boy up. The 350 4 bolt main motor was professionally built and pushes out an estimated 350 horsepower. A relatively aggressive cam " Hits a good lick" as they say here in the south. This truck is set up with great highway gears in the 12 bolt rear to provide all the fun you can handle stoplight to stoplight or on a long cruise at highway speeds. Beautiful polished intake with Holley 650 4bbl feeds the fuel to this motor and it breathes out the ceramic coated, polished Hedman headers out through the growling Thrush mufflers with the dual exhaust dumping out right in front of the rear axle. Tons of power and easy to drive thanks in part to the 700R4 Automatic transmission that shifts out strong and smooth. Power steering handles beautifully and as you can see this truck has an awesome stance thanks to the professionally installed 4/6 drop lowering kit from Early Classics that includes drop spindles, springs, shocks with relocaters, and super track bar. This kit provides this truck with a killer stance and an awesome ride. CPP 1 1/4" front sway bar adds to the handling. Stopping comes easy thanks to the power front disc brake kit with new front calipers, rotors, and pads and the rear drums were also completely redone with new components. Finishing off the look is a great set of Polished Ridler wheel, 20 x10 in the back and 20x8.5 in front wrapped in practically all new rubber. Pop the hood to show off the engine bay!!! Of course the truck is super clean underneath as well as you will see in the pics that follow. Make sure you listen to the video that follows to hear how awesome this truck sounds!!! This truck is a true joy to drive!!!
