A great local car enthusiast stopped by recently to see our show room and check out some of the great cars and trucks we had in inventory. He told me he had recently moved and no longer had his drive under basement area where he stored all his toys so he was getting ready to sell a '46 Chevy 3100 Pick Up truck that he really ever planned on letting go. He acquired this truck a little over a year ago in Tennessee at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run event in a trade on a an old Buick Lead sled he had. Needless to say he is a serious car guy who loves to have something in his collection that no one else is going to show up in at any of the local shows or cruise-ins. He was told that the truck had received a frame off restoration about 10 years ago. The truck had spent most of its life in the Tennessee area and had a super nice body prior to the restoration. As a result, hat you are going to be looking at is an all steel truck, o fiberglass! As you will see the body had some modifications for a custom, ot Rod look but still retains a gorgeous Chrome front grille. This is an awesome body style and is really starting to be very sought after int he collector truck market. Oh, ets not forget the one of a kind paint color and graphics that were professionally done. The color is called Knock-out Rose and turns all the heads you can imagine no matter where you go! This truck was also built to be driven and has a great sounding, round pounding crate 350 V8 putting out an estimated 300 horsepower mated to a turbo 350 Automatic transmission. Handling is a breeze with independent front suspension and power steering. She stops just as easy thanks to power front disc brakes. Ice cold air conditioning and a bunch of other features really makes this an amazing Hot Rod truck that you can truly drive and enjoy!! I will do my best to provide enough large images, video of the truck running, nd an honest description to help you decide if this unique '46 Chevy 3100 is the one for you. As with all of my inventory I do have this truck listed on several other websites in addition to my own. So, f you decide this is the one for you and you want to scoop it up before the next car guy or gal does feel free to call me to discuss how we can make that happen. I welcome overseas buyers and I can assist with great rate on enclosed transport anywhere in the country. Sit back and enjoy!!!
This truck is a serious looker and will truly stand out no matter where you take it. The custom color is called Knock-Out Rose and the paint is a very high end paint job done about 10 years ago on an all steel body. As you will see there were some custom modifications such as frenched in headlights, ustom tailgate and rear roll pan, oor handles removed and smoothed, nd more. The result is a super slick truck with a great stance. Body panels are extremely straight and doors fit awesome. Custom graphics were air brushed and pin-striped on. This truck has been enthusiast owned and has been driven to events not trailered. Therefore it is not flawless but will still take home plenty of trophies at the local shows if that is what you enjoy. Unfortunately, here are some flaws in the front valance area when a transporter pulled it to close to a concrete parking block and damaged the paint. As you may notice there is a small area where the paint chipped off and a slight crack on the lower valance area. This would not be difficult or expensive to correct if the next owner decides they want the body to be perfect. Aside from that I noticed a few other very tiny rock chips in the paint and a few minor spots in the rear corner of the hood. Otherwise the body is really in fantastic condition. Chrome grille looks awesome and all of the glass is in great condition. A custom rear bow tie third brake light was added in the back of the cab which is a cool custom touch. Wipers are not currently mounted but there is an electric wiper motor that works and wipers will be included with the truck. Great custom tonneau cover that covers a really nice oak wood bed. I think the walk around photo tour of the truck that follows will show you what you want to see.

Complimenting the Knock-Out Rose exterior of this awesome Hot Rod is a custom gray tweed and vinyl interior. Super comfortable buckets seats with 3-way adjustment on the drivers side. Door panels, eadliner and carpeting all match and have a great custom pattern. Tilt steering column with Boyd Steering Wheel. Great set of aftermarket VDO gauges that all work and give you all the vital readouts you need. All of the gauges and lights appear to be working correctly. Ice cold Vintage Air conditioning with vents custom done in the dash. Great sounding am/fm/cd player with 4 speakers for those long drives. Power windows operate smoothly and in case you were wondering since the outside door handles are shaved smooth there is a hidden switch to lower the drivers side window under the running board so you can get in the truck if you left the windows up. The interior is in great condition overall and really matches the theme of the truck nicely. Take a look inside:

This '46 is truly set up to be driven and enjoyed and while the current owner said he has probably put about 1000 miles on it in the year he has owned it, e would never hesitate to get in and drive it anywhere! There have been just over 22,000 miles put on the truck since the restoration approximately 10 years ago so it is a proven driver and has always been very well maintained. She does not seem to be leaking any fluids which is another indicator of a solid build that has been driven and enjoyed. I drove the truck myself and it runs and drives fantastic. Under the hood is a gorgeous looking crate 350 V8 pushing out about 300 horsepower. As you will see there is plenty of bling under the hood thanks to the polished and chromed components including Edelbrock intake and 4bbl Carburetor, lternator, /C compressor, ront runner pulley set up and more. Great looking set of ceramic coated shorty headers breathe out a great sounding dual exhaust that exits out under the rear valance. Electric fan and aluminum radiator keep this truck running nice and cool even in the hot Atlanta Summers. Mated to the ground pounding 350 is a smith shifting rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a 10 bolt rear end with very highway friendly gears. This Hot Rod truck handles the road beautifully with a Mustang II front end with independent front suspension and power steering. Front coil overs, ear stabilizer, nbsp;and rear leafs provide a really smooth ride down the road. Stopping is effortless thanks to the power front disc brake set up. Awesome stance thanks in part to the great set of polished Billet Wheels, 7's in back and 16's up front wrapped in a great set of Goodyear Eagle Radials with tons of tread life left. MSD electronic ignition and new battery have this baby cranking up with ease. The engine bay looks amazing and is definitely one you will be proud to show off at the shows and cruise-ins. The undercarriage also looks great and is rock solid with no rust issues.
