Hello. I am selling my 1985 chevy Scottsdale C10 pickup truck I have had for about the last 5 years. So long story short this used to be my daily driver for the first 2 years then became just a here and there driver for a few until it pretty much sat unused for about a year. After deciding to get it back on the road I found that the sitting around did not do the engine many favors. I had already knew that the transmission needed work so started there and by the end of summer had pretty much overhauled the whole engine and transmission. I am not too much of a mechanicmyself so all of the work was done by respected shops where I live. I did do some cleaning up of the truck itself but could use a little more polishing since my initial job was kind of quick and then it pretty much started raining since. The truck has had a complete tranny rebuild, engine replacement (long block), carb, tune, brakes, etc. The trans has a very small leak which the shop told me was probably just a crease in the pan gasket that happens sometimes when it is replaced. The shop said they would check it out at the 400 mile follow up apt but at the rate I am driving it that might be a bit. Other than that the truck runs and drives great. I really enjoy driving it especially new. I am simply looking to sell because although I have had it back for couple months I really barely drive it and is just not practical to keep just becauseI love it. It has a couple of cosmetic things but looks real good for the year. I have shown the bulk of them in the pics and have included pics of orders for all the work that has been done this past summer. Also I do not expect to get all the money back that I have put into this truck but it is a very nice running truck that is basically new mechanically.
