1979 Chevrolet Camaro Additional Info:

You are bidding on a gorgeous 1979 CAMARO RALLY SPORT.
305 V8, 4bbl, AT, PS, PB, front and rear sway bars, 83,000 documented miles, 2 tone blue with blue leather interior (not vinyl). This is a virtually rust free Texas car. The car has only been in the northeast for about the past 2 years. The former owner told me this is the original drivetrain but I did not check numbers. The car has a new Edelbrock intake and 750 carb (about 1,000 miles ago), new front sway bar links, 1 ball joint, and idler arm. New header pipes with turbo mufflers, needs tail pipes installed if desired. Fresh oil change about 100 miles ago. New brakes. Car is not perfect but a super clean driver. It absolutely starts, runs, rides and handles as it should. Drive it anywhere! All floors and trunk are rust free. Car has an older re-paint with very little body work. All body lines are nice, hood, doors, and trunk open as they should. Door hinges are tight. There is a tiny rust spot on the r/r quarter behind the wheel, a dimple in the hood from someone installing a "too tall" air cleaner stud in the past, a door ding in the passenger door, some typical"spidering" on the rubber bumpersand that's about it. Interior is perfect. No rips or tears and carpet is like new. No radio. I'd give the car a 7 out of 10.Comes riding on 4 like new 225/60 15 black wall tires (like on the front) mounted on rally wheels with centers and trim rings. This is an AC car but compressor was deleted. All other AC components come with the vehicle.NADA price guide good condition...$9,888.Haggerty good condition...$8,690.Collector Car Market Review good condition...$8,280-$12,030.This car is way above good condition! My reserve is much lower.

On Nov-18-16 at 14:50:48 PST, seller added the following information:

The pictures I took of the interior were done at night with a flash. The seats are light blue but look much lighter in the pictures with the flash. Also for those of you who were wondering, the heavy blue wire running across the engine compartment is a hot lead to the trunk for an amplifier that was in the car before I got it. I was going to remove it but decided to leave it there for the next owner in case he or she wants an amp in the trunk. The car retains the nicely installed 6X9 Alpine speakers in the rear package tray, dual round speakers (not sure of brand) in the dash, and it looks like all the wires are run for the radio with cables run to the trunk for an amp. It should be a real quick deal to install your stereo.
