1972 Chevrolet C-10 Shortbed Fleetside Additional Info:

1972Chevrolet C10 short bed in nice condition, ready for someone to put finishing touches on the truck. This is a nice foundation on which an unbelievable masterpiece could be transformed. Body and paint are decent, perfect for an everyday driver, but for the perfectionist, would need a grade “A” paint job. For the people who might ask, this IS a true short box. The SPID card says 115" wheel base. The underside of the truck is exactly how we found it, must've been apart and gone through. The pics tell most of the story. We were pleasantly surprised at the condition of the frame and suspension parts.

Drive train is great; runs like a scared rabbit. We didn't build the motor, but from what we understand it's a 383 stroker and it performs as such. This is not the stock 350 that came in the truck originally. We just went through the motor making sure it was in top running condition, our tech dialed in the carb for 4200 feet and it's a kick in pants to run around town in. Transmission is a TH200-4R, shifts smooth and right. Truck has power steering, no power brakes. Just had the drive-line balanced and u joints replaced. The odometer reads 29484, but true mileage is unknown and will be sold as mileage "exempt" per Colorado titling procedures when transferred. The gauges all seem to be functioning correct except the speedometer, comes in handy when getting pulled over and the officer asks if you know how fast you were going... Mechanically this truck is in great condition. Interior is in very nice shape, the seat has new upholstery and the carpet looks newer.

Additional photos of the truck can be seen on our website: maximmotors1.com

The truck could be a great everyday driver today but in the right hands it could easily be a one of a kind original.
