This is a very nice 1965 Chevelle that has been set up as a quality Pro Touring driver. This car was restored/painted 5-7 years ago and is in great condition. The black paint has a great shine and is of high quality and the body is very straight as you can see from the photos. The car has been driven since and is not a trailer queen but a very nice driver. The interior is red and is also in very nice condition. This color combo pops and looks absolutely amazing in the Arizona sun. The original steering wheel and dash are unrestored and look great giving this classic a great look and feel while cruising.
The small block in this car is very healthy and sounds just plain nasty. It has Holley Aluminum heads, Holley Aluminum Intake, Double Pumper and a nice lumpy cam giving this beast an estimated 400-425 horse power. *(click on link below to hear the car running)The transmission has been updated with a modern 5 speed manual instead of the old 4 speed. The Chevelle has been recently upgraded with a C5 Corvette brake kit which includes new spindles, hubs, 4 piston calipers and 13'' cross drilled and slotted rotors. Looks and performs amazing. The suspension has also been upgraded with larger sway bars and lowered 2" as well. This car is fast, handles like its on rails, has the brakes of a Corvette and can cruise down the highway at 80 at ease thanks to the 5 speed trans. The wheels are American Racing and are 17x8 up front and 17x9.5 in the rear.
The car is only driven occasionally on the weekends and is well cared for and always garaged. She is 51 years old but in very nice condition.
