1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Additional Info:

This auction is for a 1970 Monte Carlo that was converted in a convertible using Malibu parts. Conversion was done many years ago by previous owner. Previous owner was getting it all roadworthy and decided to sell to finish a Facel Vega. Anyway that is how I got it.

Previous owner did all new brakes, springs, fuel system and all underhood cleanup and repairs. Looks like new hoses, belts, battery. Car has new tires also. I also have a set of 15 inch rallye wheels to go with it. Car runs really well. It is a 350 4bbl carb. Dual exhausts. A/C is hooked up but not tested. Power steering and brakes. Interior is in decent shape, seats without rips, console is in good shape, carpets slightly faded. Door panels are good.

Car is currently registered and insured and is driveable as is.

Needs paint and a top. Could also use weatherstriping. All side chrome is present except for lower rocker panel moldings. Chrome trim above the rockers is off but present. Needs linkage between transmission/steering column adjusted. Doors on car have rust in forward edges. I have since purchased 2 rust free doors that come with purchase.

Reason I'm selling is I took a job as a Corrections Officer and will be working excessive hours so I will not have time to work on it myself.

If you have a feedback of less than 10 you cannot bid without contacting me first.

There is no warranty expressed of implied. Please come view personally if you wish. Car is in Lexington, Ky.

Shipping is at expense of owner. I can assist in loading. It does not have to be moved anytime soon. We can negotiate that. No extra charges for storage.

This car has a small amount of rust. Mostly in the doors, which I have replacements for. It also has rust in lower corner of door jambs(size of a quarter) and rust in drivers rear floorpan(easily replaceable). Just want to make sure bidders from this point on know if the rust I spotted.

I can text any pics that requests them.

The pictures are a mix of the last owners and mine. Car has not changed.

If it does not sell this time I will put thru a friends body shop and price will go way up. Buy now and finish your way!

Last auction almost sold it so I am lowering the reserve. Please don't ask what it is, just bid to win!
