1974 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Additional Info:

1974 Monte Carlo Landau full vinyl top, amily owned since new. Was Purchased by grandmother Brand new in 1974. Original Mileage of just over 62k miles. She drove it until the early 90's until she could no longer drive. It was then passed down to a daughter and son in law, ho have had it parked since. The car fired right up and was driven around a few city blocks for determination of drivetrain. Engine is very nice running, nd transmission shifts as it should. Brakes are good. There is a crack in windshield. There is some stitching that has come apart on seats, nd small tears on vinyl of seat, ut no tears on the cloth part of seats. Swivel bases turn and adjust as they should, ll trim is intact. carpet has some discoloration from sun fading, ut carpet is not deteriorated and can be re-dyed. Tilt steering.The Knob on heater/AC switch fan is broken, ut fan still works. Rear bumper filler panel will need replaced also. The original engine is a 350, nd has a 2 barrel carb. Great running. Air conditioning lines and its components intact, did not try to run AC, ut my guess will likely need a charging of the system. There is some small rust holes on the top, here what looks like the vinyl top retained moisture and was the cause of this. There is a small dent on passenger side fender, nd some rust on the driver fender, ehind front wheel where rocker trim is attached. The rest of body is very solid, ncluding the underside, loor pans, runk etc, o the best of my knowledge and inspection. The dash has a couple of cracks on it. Every last piece of trim and badge is intact on this vehicle, ndicative of its original surviving state. The car still has its original documentation with it also. The Monte sports Chevys Rally wheels. The tires are kind of weather checked. A person can put a Paint job, op, nd windshield, nd have a very nice driver quality Classic. Its Surprising to me to even stumble across a machine that is still remarkably in Unmolested, riginal shape, fter all this car is older than me. The interior Panels, eadliner, eat belts, teering wheel, nterior, nd car itself, s in good shape. The Radio still works! Original Jack and spare still intact, runk matting still in place. This is one of the ones that you may never find again. Its only original once, o don't miss out ladies and gents. A very Nice opportunity to own this.
