1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z28 Additional Info:

1987 Camaro Z-28 Iroc 5-speed 42K miles.

This car has been well cared for and babied. The interior, exterior, engine compartment, mechanicals, etc. are all in good shape. It has never been in salt and very seldom has it been in the rain. I purchased this car two years ago on the spot because it was the nicest I had come across in my three years of searching.

Exterior (RED):

The paint is in great shape, absolutely no rust. The undercarriage was undercoated when new and is as clean as the rest of the car. The red paint, decals, and moldings all appears to be factory original. The front bumper has been resprayed and matches perfectly. All of the panels have the original VIN sticker and there appears to be no pervious accident damage. I have been all over this car and it is the absolute cleanest Camaro I could find that wasn't $20K.

Interior (Brown):

The interior of this car is nearly perfect. The dash pad, windows, door cards, carpet, and plastic, are all in REALLY great shape. This is also one of the nicest Camaro interiors I have ever scene. Even the original headliner is in perfect shape. All lights, windows, and gauges (except the temp gauge) work perfectly.

Mechanical:

The engine is the 305 TPI (tuned port induction), the engine starts and runs well and is a blast to drive. The T5 manual transmission shifts wonderfully thanks to a new clutch and fresh gear oil (still had the original clutch until I changed it last week). The HVAC(AC converted professionally to R-134) work well. The rear end is nice and quiet. The steering and suspension is SUPERIOR (see below for details). The four wheel discs work perfectly.

Maintenance:

I have a ton of records going back to the original owner. In my time with the car I have done the following over the last two years:

· Oil Changes

· New Battery

· Replaced Radiator, fluid, & Cap (the original radiator developed a leak)

· New Clutc, Trans Gear Oil, & rear main seal (it still had the factory clutch)

· Replaced fuel pump relay & fan replay (one was cracked replaced with OEM old stock)

Modifications:

Engine:

· Headers (coated),

· High flow (tri-pipe),

· High flow cat

· Magna flow stainless muffler & pipes

· SOUNDS AWESOME!

Suspension:

· Eibach performance springs (front & rear)

· Larger Sway bars (front & rear)

· AGX adjustable shocks (rear) & struts (front)

· Adjustable Lower control arms (rear)

· Kennie Bell weld-in / bolt in sub-frame connectors

· BMR front strut/cowl brace

· Performance alignment

· DRIVES GREAT, NICE AND TIGHT

Full Disclosure:

· The paint isn’t perfect but really close (see pics for defects)

· Temp gauge doesn’t work

· Occasionally the car will take longer to start, if the normal start time is 1 second it may take 2 seconds

This is a really great car, I’m asking a reasonable price, if you have been looking for a nice Iroc this is it. To find a nicer one you will have to pay $25K and it may really not be any nicer.
