1972 Chevrolet Nova Super sport Additional Info:

A little story on the background of this beautiful 1972 Chevy Nova SS.....
A friend of mine, George bought this car and has put the time and parts in to it to make it the amazing muscle car it is today. George had it built with the best of parts and mechanics in California. George loved this car and took very good care of it. It has only been on the west coast so has an amazing body, no rust! George became sick and wasn't able to drive his baby. But knowing while it sat it still needed some lovin! So he brought me the car on July 1st to rebuild the carburetor. On the morning of July 4th I received a phone call from Georges son, telling me his dad had passed away that morning. George was never able to take this beauty out to the track. So this is the only reason this car is being sold.
George didn't mess around tho, this car is street legal, and also built to be a 10 second strip car! From the paint to the guts she is sweet! The list below is all the extras and upgrades I found! If you have any questions call JIM at 702-437-8887, Thanks for checking out this great car. If the Nova is purchased at the Buy it now price, I will pay the shipping to any of the lower 48 United States.

Ok so today I found more history on this car. George's son brought me all the paper work on this car and George kept every receipt! This Car was a Charity project. George bought this car through the Primedia Editors Charity Challenge, Built by the Bow Tie Bad boys. It was one out of ten cars to be built by ten different teams and then auctioned off at a track in southern California to show the people what the cars could do. At the track this car preformed amazing! Doing a 13.46 Sec.quarter mile @ 104.92 mph. Acceleration (0-60) in 5.1 Sec. Braking (60-0) 158 Ft. Slalom (ave speed) 47.7. The car placed in the charity 3rd in "best overall" and 2nd in "best in style/cool factor"! This car was also in hot rod magazine George has the original factory bill sheet and has literally every receipt for anything ever done to this car. Including all the papers from how the car was built step by step for the charity and who the previous owner was that sold the car to the Bow Tie Bad Boys. You can look up more on this car at editorscharitychallenge.com/bowtiebadboys or hotrod.com/articles1972nova
