1968 Chevrolet Camaro, Pro-Touring Coupe

Fast440 is pleased to offer this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro Pro-Touring Coupe. This extremely well sorted out and High Dollar Build has over the top driving impressions with gobs of torque and power and exceptional handling characteristics. This example outperforms many LS Resto-Mod Conversion Camaros we have represented in the past. To say this car is a blast to drive is an understatement. The Motor, Transmission and Gear Ratio is a perfect combination indeed, and the person who built it and chose these components knew how to build a Pro- Touring right.

This Camaro Coupe has received a Full Rotisserie Restoration a few years back, and built from a very well preserved example as evidenced by the original, exceptionally straight, Rust-Free, Bondo-Free Quarter Panels and condition of some of the car's original Trim Components. Paint and Body is exceptional with deep and lustrous paint, Straight lines when looking down both sides of the car and good Body Panel fit. The Vehicle Interior has been gone through as well, and this includes Seat Upholstery, Door Panels, Headliner Dash Pad and Carpet replacement. The Red on Red Color Combination most certainly stands out along with an aggressive stance.

GM ZZ3 crate Motor Specs, without Holley 950 Fuel Injection System .....

Chevrolet Performance’s big-torque SP383 is more powerful than ever. We’ve added revised cylinder heads that incorporate a new, high-rpm valve train to help the SP383 produce 435 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque. The new, lightweight aluminum cylinder head casting is based on the proven Fast Burn design, with large intake runners and 2.00-/1.55-inch valves. New beehive-style valve springs enable greater high-rpm performance and durability. They allow the SP383 to rev higher, building more power to complement its low-rpm torque.

The SP383 is built with a brand-new block with four-bolt mains. It also features a forged-steel crankshaft, an aggressive hydraulic roller, camshaft and durable, high-silicon pistons.
Unique valve covers distinguish the engine from previous versions and it now includes a high-flow, aluminum intake manifold. Use the Holley 770-cfm four-barrel carburetor (P/N 19170093) to make the most of the engine’s capability and achieve the listed horsepower and torque ratings. Your Chevrolet Performance dealer has everything you need to finish off the engine and get this small-block stroker running in your vehicle faster
