This truck was manufactured in the Los Angeles assembly plant and is an original V8 truck. I have had this truck for about 2 years and have put a lot of time and money into it to make it what it is today. The drivetrain and interior are new, both done within the last year and a half as well as many other things. Below is a list of what it has. When I got this truck, it was in great and unmolested condition. My goal with this truck was to aesthetically retain it's originality while making it a better driving truck compared to 1956 standards. It has a freshly rebuilt 350 with a Demon carburetor mated to a 700R4 4-spd automatic transmission. The block and the valve covers are painted Chevrolet Orange and I used a "vintage style" air cleaner to give it a more classic and look. The retro AC Delco battery and Powermaster single-wire 12v Alternator/Generator complete the vintage look under the hood.
The truck drives runs and drives amazing. The steering is smooth and precise and is steady at any speed. It cruises easily at 60-70mph. It runs very cool, usually 180-190, even in 100+ degree weather. I have enjoyed taking my family in this for weekend drives as well as car shows. I am only selling it because I bought another truck that I have been wanting for many years.
