1985 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z-28 Additional Info:
First year for the IROC Z-28 Camaro, 1985, this is a fantastic configuration of one of the most desirable years - particularly when equipped with the LB9 5.0 liter Tuned Port Fuel Injected V8. This was by far the strongest year for the 5.0's, with the larger L69 camshaft and better breathing ('86 and later were considerable de-tuned as compared to the 1985 LB9's). This fully loaded IROC is in the rare and desirable color Silver Metallic, available only that year and unique to the IROC. Conteur interior is also coveted by collectors. I am the second owner of this very nice specimen, and I have known the original owner since the car was bought new at McDorman's Chevrolet in Canal Winchester, Ohio (now Jeff Wyler Chevrolet). Never wrecked, never seen snow or salty roads - it has been professionally repainted once due to the oxidation issue that plagued so many GM cars in the mid eighties. Everything works as it should (AC could use a recharge on the refrigerant, but works) and the car drives very nicely. Very low miles at under 31,000.
