1974 Cadillac Fleetwood TALISMAN Additional Info:

Its hard to believe there're even any of these still around. Yes...it is a 1974 Talisman. The ultimate in luxury, even in Cadillac. The Eldorado Brougham of 1974! The difference in price between the Brougham and the Talisman package was almost enough to buy a Pinto. PLUSH! Very few of these cars were built in 74, 75, and 76 but the 1974 is the standard. It was the ONLY year that featured both front and back consoles. The carpets were thicker, the cloth was Medici, almost velvet, even the door panels were this cloth. A writing desk inscribed with the name of the original owner folds up out of the front console with a small "clipboard" and pen and pencil holders. You sink into the seats. Then of course all the "standard" Brougham features in this hulk of a pillared sedan. Footrest in the back, junk pockets on the backs of the seats.

As for this example of the 74 Talisman. Its rough! But, deserves to be restored. The odometer reads just over 65,000 mile (but it may be more...I don't know). The interior is solid, but VERY dirty. The drivers seat is more worn that the rest, but needs lots of work (look at the pictures). The worst of the body is the rear right quarter. This quarter has lots of rust (don't know why the other isn't bad). Also rust around the base of the vinyl top. Vinyl top is gone (needs to be replaced). We have a clear title in our name. But we haven't driven or even started it for years. We are selling it completely as is, and where is.Back right passenger window, and rear window broken. Please assume I told you that everything is wrong, then you'll be happy for anything/everything that isn't wrong with it. I never intended to ever sell this (I wanted to do it myself). But, it has to go! Good Luck on your bidding! Feel free to call me with any questions about it BEFORE YOU BID! Please, I'm trying to give you an honest description, YOU be honest in your bidding. All you have is your word! We trust you! 970-250-6029
