1989 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham D'Elegance. There is light damage to the passenger side where my elderly father kept hitting the wall along the driveway. It has not affected the opening of those doors or the power windows. Also the back corner of the passenger side has been damaged but again for a competent body shop guy this stuff is all easy fix. The filler panels will all need replacing as they always do on these cars. Now for the good part. This is a southern no rust car that has super low miles and just runs like a top. You could drive this car cross country right now with zero worry. The transmission was rebuilt by the best shop in B'ham at 57191 miles so the tranny only has 14000 miles on it. Shifts butter smooth. No way that the engine could run any smoother than this one. Slight oil drip from underneath but very minimal and what you would expect from a 1989 car. Every single thing on this car works except the climate control which works intermittently. Included in the sale is a programmer and also another control unit. I make no guarantees but I feel confident that it will most likely fix it. When the AC does blow it blows cold so compressor must be good. The new set of Firestone tires only have 12000 miles on them. The interior is just incredible and you would be hard pressed to ever find one nicer. The tufted red leather interior is just gorgeous. The dash is perfect. All door panels perfect. No cracks in the leather anywhere. We had a new headliner put in by the best interior shop in town and there is no way that factory could have looked better. The only negative that any picky person might find would be some fading of the carpet. The trunk is amazingly clean and has the original cadillac emblem mat, jack, and lug wrench. The space saver spare is in great condition and still has the carpet boot. Front rotors replaced less than 2000 miles ago and new ceramic brake pads. The AC was converted to modern freon back when Dad bought this. Other receipts include fuel filter, having the front bearings packed, full tune up etc. The vinyl top has no tears either and all the glass is good. When driving it just floats down the road so smooth and straight, no shimmys or wobbles at all. The power steering and brakes work flawlessly. The previous owner replaced the rear air shocks with regular ones. You are welcome to contact me Phillip 205-936-9199 to discuss car and I can send you additional pictures. You are also welcome to come see the car in person and drive it. If you wanted to just use this car as is for daily transportation you would have a very solid reliable vehicle. But if you are willing to fix the light damage and paint this car you could have a real head turner. Oh yeah it does have the gold emblems on it which I think add to its look. If I did not already have 4 cars I would keep it myself. I have sold about 5 cars over the years, always happy buyers. I hate a liar and I have been lied to before on car deals. I want whoever buys this car to love it and be totally happy with it. This body style is so classic and I think the red interior is the most striking of any of them, especially when it is the D'Elegance version. Take a good look at the engine compartment and the undercarriage. You can see for yourself just how clean this car is. It was obviously always garaged and is in my father's garage now. Title in hand. 200 deposit due within 48 hours of auction close. The balance due in cash only when you pick it up. I will be happy to work with any shipper you chose if that is how you want to get it home. But don't think twice about driving this car wherever you want to go.
